After unsuccessfully trying several less pricey alternatives on my 6 lb Papillon I read the reviews and bit the bullet. It is worth the price. Our little girl needs to be brushed very night to prevent matting. This was a battle when using other brushed. While brushing still isn’t her favorite activity ahe tolerated this brush so much better than the others and it works beautifully on her coat without pinching. Worth the cost.

This brush is absolutely worth the investment. I have a 5 month old biewer puppy with insane amount of hair. She usually gets crazy matted hair around her tummy area because the hair is just so long. I've had a difficult time getting through it with my slicker brush from PetSmart because she didn't like it. I assume it's too rough on her skin. With this brush I was able to get the matted hair out with no complaints from her! The pins feel so much softer. It is so amazing. I've made a night time routine to do little brushing sessions with her before I go to bed. It's definitely saved me so much time compared to the one I used from PetSmart. It's also going to save me money with the groomer as she won't need the extra charge for dematting.

Once we decided to splurge on a fancy brush, we can never go back! It was well worth the money because there's something special about the Chris Christensen brushes. It makes brushing go by so much faster and it actually works! You can easily brush through once and be done, rather than over and over again like we used to. We got the baby K size for our mini Bernedoodle who is 18lbs and this is just the right size for him. Highly recommend this brush, it will last you a long time and make a huge difference!

Since I am planning on keeping my Shih Tzu coat long, I wanted a slicker brush that would help keep ahead of the dreaded matts. I use this brush daily and my dog's coat look fluffy. It is easy to hold and cleans with a quick wipe. It has been well worth the price. I shared it with my groomer and she was impressed.

This brush is your best friend if you have a doodle. I don’t go anywhere without it. Great quality and size. Easy to handle.

The media could not be loaded. My Pomeranian boy is very sensitive. He yelps even at this brush, honestly, but only if I go fast and pick a large clump of hair at once.Please, note that this is not your regular brush that you brush with. You kind of need to wiggle the bristles to make sure they go all the way down to the skin, then pull it up and a bit backwards. See my video. I recommend using small sections of fur, and to pull slowly. I work with my wrist more so than the whole hand. If I pull on the fur fast, the brush gets stuck, but if I go slow, it pulls all that undercoat right out. It deranges as well but only freshly-formed or loose knots. Also, this brush is not good on knots of my Shih-Tzu Bichon mix. Her hair is way too fine.
