Great quality and perfect size
Great quality and perfect size. The bag is very comfortable to carry every day—I’ve been using it for the past 4 months, and I love it. It features a padded compartment for your laptop, a main compartment that accommodates an iPad, and a spacious area for all your other essentials. There’s also a small front pocket for pens, your phone, or a notepad, and a top pocket that’s perfect for your phone or wallet. A great, durable bag!”

Honestly its awesome how much stuff i fit into this backpack and how much room I still have for more. The side pockets are literally my favorite feature and what really pushed me to pull the trigger on this one instead of the other incase backpacks. The video on the incase website is seriously a legitimate testament in showing how much it fits - if you can handle the weight of all that.. Its a ridiculously wonderful backpack and i cant imagine going on without it, so it gets 5 stars for sure. It's currently holding (with the utmost ease) my; 12" Retina MacBook, iPad Pro, and 2 Medium Sized paperback books in the "main compartment", tons of adapters, about half-a-dozen USBthis to USBthat cords, macbook/ipad chargers, a few pens/pencils, keys, two small external SSD's, a wall outlet expander, and some snacks in the "accessories compartment", Mail i snatched from the mailbox on my way out, and 1 Shinola Soft Linen Cover Journal Navy in the front zippered section, a Wonder Wallet - Amazing Slim RFID Wallets As Seen on TV, Black Leather in one side pocket and a RAVPower Element 10400mAh Portable Charger iSmart Technology (External Battery Pack, Power Bank, 3A Output, Dual USB)-White in the other.Bottom Line: Get this backpack if you like incase products and like to carry a lot of useful items..-------The following comments are *minor* criticism's intended for the sake of progress and future development of new products - Thusly, please see below for my wish list in regards to this backpack;*A 2nd key holder/clasp within the "accessory compartment" preferably much shorter so when its left on keys it isn't as long compared to the keys themselves)*A magnetic or button clasp/closer for the top pouch within the "accessory compartment" so it doesn't stay open.*A Faux Fur "tablet" section within the "main compartment" - cause my 12" MacBook actually fits in that one perfectly while my iPad Pro fits snuggly in the bigger "laptop" section.*Built-in Rain Guard. I see you make them, and i'll be purchasing one. It just would have been way nicer to have it already integrated. I would have paid another 20-30 bucks without a 2nd thought for this feature especially since it IS a quality backpack at a higher than average price point already.*i wish the "accessory compartment" would unzip just another inch or two further like the "main compartment" does for easier access to my accessories...*having the top zipper pouch (which is awesome btw) integrated into the lining between the two compartments. I honestly cant (nor will I) deduct stars/points for the current design because i really feel like a whinny little sob for complaining that -sometimes- it gets in the way due to being "loose" when reaching into, or pulling things out of, the "main compartment" (Also, i really love that its lined with faux fur. fantastic feature. really. is fantastic.)thats really it. none of the above points take away anything from the functionality and awesomeness of this backpack in regards to its current design, they're just small changes that would make an already perfect backpack even more perfect.aaaand since i'm already here and *incase* you'd like to know..... My one personal wish for the "1 Backpack to Rule Them All".. - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make an "Icon Slim DSLR Pack" (and/or a "DSLR Pro Slim Pack")!! if this current backpack could just carry like 1 mirrorless body and 2 lenses within a dedicated section - omg it would be utterly perfect. Some detachable side straps for a travel tripod would be really nice too... But maybe we don't even have to go that far... It would be super sick if you could just make an optional camera insert for it, with all the velcro camera dividers and such, that fits right into the "main compartment" of the Icon Slim Pack and only keeps the laptop/tablet pouch accessible. God that would be amazing...

Just as good as my original Icon, the legacy continues!
I purchased my first Icon backpack about 5 years ago. I used and abused that pack! It carried all my school essentials through my college years, hiked with it, and traveled with it. It was my go-to pack and it went everywhere with me and carried everything I needed. At the end of the 5 years fraying was minimal, I lost one zipper on the main compartment (good thing they put two), patched up a few holes (including one attaching the a zipper to the main body), most of the shoulder padding lost its spring, and some discoloring was present in the stitchings. However, even with all the damage it accrued it still worked and was very comfortable to wear. In the end I patched it up one last time and sent it to live out its remaining life with my family in another country, It was time for me to move on.I purchased this newer version of the Icon Slim and also a City Compact and compared them side by side (could not decide which one I like best). The Icon Slim was far superior and here is why:- Extremely comfortable, the padding is exceptionally ergonomic. Even when fully weighed down, once on my back and settled it the weigh is nicely distributed and no fatigue is present even after wearing it all day.- Tough nylon outer shell is water resistant. I have used the pack while riding my bike to class in the rain and all the contents inside remained dry. Its not built to be submersed but it will prove protection in rain.- Durable materials, this pack it built to last.- Lots of organization options. You can fit a lot in it and it will remain in place and organized, just how I like it.- Adequate laptop protection! My original icon fell off a moving car (don't ask) and it protected the laptop inside from complete destruction. I am positive that this newer model is capable of doing the same.No review would be completely without at least one comment in needed improvement. This backpack has a few drawbacks:- The "360 Protection" padding for your laptop that other Incase backpacks come with is absent in the Icon. I do not understand why this is the case, but its something that I hope will be addressed in future models.- Lots of Incase products have awesome color accents, this pack has one pocket with a color accent. It would be nice to see more in future models.I expect this pack to last just as long as its predecessor. Im really excited to start using it!

Sending the wrong version of Incase icon slim
The bag itself is really good. The quality and material is well made. I would defiantly recommend this bag for school, work and mostly traveling because it stays slim even if you pack tons of stuff on it. But only issue is that they sent me the wrong version of Incase icon slim TWICE.The first picture that they show is the new version. The 2nd-4th picture is the older version which I assume everyone else assume that they will be getting. The new version doesn’t have the other compartment where you Can have more organizer. The older version has 2 big compartment to store thing but the new version only has one. Also there’s a side pocket, the old version has a green lining where you put the power bank and has a cut out so your cord could go thru. And it’s much more bigger. The new version doesn’t have the cut out and it’s much smaller. So if you have a iPhone 6,6s,7,8 PLUS it won’t fit.I’ve contacted amazon about the issue. But they said I have to contact the seller and to tell them to send me the right version. So I did what I was told and the seller replied to me by saying they’re not responsible because amazon is the one that ship and packs it. So I called amazing back and they said it’s the sellers responsible. As of now I just give up. Don’t buy it if you expect to get the bag shown on the pictures 2-4.
