These stockings are small at the top of the leg. They are very well designed and constructed. The most comfortable compression Sox I have ever worn. When I was putting them on i thought they would be too long. In fact they were perfect. I bought 3 pairs to start with: violet grey and tan, and I will be buying more.

Cons: I wear a size 10 XXwide women's shoe, and the large/x-large size of these socks works perfectly for me, but I'm not sure they would if your feet are bigger.The red color is darker than shown, but the others are accurate.They are pricey.Pros: They are comfortable and easy to get on.At 15-20 mmHg they are light compression and work well for me on a daily basis, but that is not enough compression for me for travel and when I'm on my feet a lot.They are cotton, which is much better than synthetics.Neutral: They are medium weight.

These were the only dark blue pressure socks I could find. They look and feel great.

After my doctor recommended compression socks, I explored the many different brands. Yet, I resisted buying them because synthetic materials do not allow the skin to breathe. Not giving up, I searched for cotton compression socks and found the Newzill brand with 60% cotton, 25% spandex, and 15% copper: the perfect blend to promote circulation.I ordered two pairs, which quickly arrived. The quality was excellent. However, putting them on was a struggle. It takes a bit of practice, but once on, I immediately noticed an impressive improvement in circulation. Wow! My legs felt so good I did not want to take them off. Taking them off is easier by inserting thumbs on each side and pushing them down and off.Since they have only two sizes, S/M and L/XL, I thought L/XL might be a better fit, so I contacted the company. They quickly responded and kindly sent a larger size to try, but the L/XL foot was too big for my 7½ foot. Thus, S/M was the best fit, but with more practice in putting them on.The benefits are well worth the effort. After wearing them for a few days, my legs looked young again and felt fantastic. Today, I ordered four more pairs in different colors. I love wearing these quality cotton socks because of their therapeutic benefits.I highly recommend the Newzill brand. They are a small family company that provides outstanding service and the best quality compression socks.
