Hot item for a Hot Tub
One of the best Hot Tub items I’ve purchased. The water lasts so much longer between changes. The water in my 500 gallon tub lasted well over a year. When you have difficulty getting the water, crystal clear, after a shock - Then it’s time for a water change. This is the only Dead Sea mineral salt I’ve used. I’m satisfied - so I don’t switch. It’s priced well and is a pure product. It makes the water feel great. It’s good for your skin.I don’t use chemicals… except for an oxidation shock, couple times a month. Even the smell is just a clean smell. I do use mineral sticks and frequently clean my filter.I also use a hose-end filter when filling the tub. Because I don’t use chlorine or bromine, I don’t worry about checking the PH.Also, there is no way to rinse soap residue from swim suits. Sure, if friends are over - fine. But the less clothing going into your tub, the better.Regular salt is very caustic. It will ruin a hot tub. But I’ve used Dead Sea Minerals for 2 years, with great success. My hot tub still looks and runs like it is new.Everyone knows what chlorine does to your skin and hair. It’s also not a pleasant smell.I use 7 lb.s of Mineral Dead Sea Salt in my 500 gallon tub. I use the “fine grain” because its easier to dissolve. I put about 3-4 Lb.s in a 5 gallon bucket to dissolve before pouring in in the hot tub.Do your own research. Try it. You won’t regret it.

Wow. Relaxing and great for psoriasis
Wow. Why didn't I try this stuff earlier? I've had little patches of psoriasis here and there for many years. Vaseline Intensive Care lotion works pretty well and that is my go-to product. But I always knew mineral salts were another option. This stuff is GREAT. It feels very soothing on the skin. No strong scent. And it makes my psoriasis look and feel better very quickly. If you have psoriasis, I say you need to try it. I just bought my second batch. I stir about a cup and a half into a very warm bath and soak for 30 minutes. Feels great.

This stuff is 100% amazing. I suffer from psoriasis
This stuff is 100% amazing. I suffer from psoriasis, eczema, and keratosis pilaris... yes, lucky me... Well- this comes and goes and within my life for some reason, but within periods of years. So for the past year, it has been really bad. I am on Px stuff and try other things as well...(After waiting four months to see a dermatologist....) but nothing works as well as soaking with the dead sea salts. I highly recommend this product if you have skin problems. NO-my dermatologist did NOT tell me about this which is ridiculous but not surprising considering all I know about pharmaceuticals and managed care, but that is another story. The Px stuff I use does not compare to the salts from this company. I literally see and feel the difference within minutes of getting out of the bath. TIP: if you want real results, you need to use the recommended amount for skin issues, which is about 2 cups per bath...and you need to soak for a while- like 15-20 minutes for sure. Do NOT put other stuff in your bath like soaps or oils, etc. If you need to, shower beforehand or wash yourself during the very last few minutes of your bath. I am buying more bc it is helping so much. When you have bad skin issues, this is totally worth the price and time spent soaking. Try it if you are even considering it. I am SO happy I found this!!!

Reduces my roseacea redness on face, helps clear up acute cystic acne, and cleared my back acne
Back and shoulder acne is clearing up for the first time in 16 years--I can't believe the solution was something this affordable. I have been fighting acne with prescription medication from my dermatologist for well over a decade. Once I turned 11, everything went downhill with my skin and it's never been the same. I still have to track my sugar intake like a hawk to avoid getting deep, under-the-skin cysts that take weeks to come to a head, but anything that has a white or blackhead heals up with a good rinse in the bath with this salt water as though I literally washed it away.As someone who has spent a small fortune on skincare products and devices over the years, I have to say that this is amazingly effective for how relatively cheap it is. It reduces my roseacea redness better than the expensive UV lamp sessions. If I'm just washing my face or if I need to shower instead of take a bath, I put a small amount of this dead sea salt in the bottom of a cup, fill it with water, and dunk a cloth in it to still get my face exposed to some sea salt water at least once a day. Otherwise, I fill the bath halfway full at night so I can use less of this salt per day and wash my face first in there.Pairs nicely with CeraVe moisturizing cleanser and CeraVe moisturizer that comes in the tub (commonly used by people desperate to fix their dry-AND-oily, acne-prone skin). I was worried that it would be too drying to use this every day but then I remembered that the times I've been swimming in the ocean every day for 1-2 weeks, I've always had a little "good skin vacation." I love my city (Philadelphia, which is not a coastal city, for those who don't know) and don't want to leave it, but I wish I could be in the ocean every day. This sea salt is the next best thing. If you're a fan of sea salt texturizer sprays, dunking your hair in the bath with this salt in it functions similarly. You still have to tease your medium or long hair with a wide-tooth comb afterward. Don't brush it all straight if your hair will hold that straightness upon drying, be sure to scrunch it up again while it's still wet if you're going for beach waves. My goal is to bathe in this salt water at least every other day, but hopefully daily so I can have completely clear shoulders instead of just "mostly-faded" which is where I'm at now. As much as I loathe the seemingly-endless trial and error of figuring out what works for my weird and nasty skin, I've been so overwhelmingly pleased with this sea salt and how much it's helping me. For me, treating acne isn't even about vanity (I have so many scars and so much redness that no one would call me handsome), it's about pain relief for all the soreness. It's about not wanting to watch pus ooze out of my face, neck, and back. And this salt really does the trick for me. Forget 5 stars, I would give it 10 if I could.

Good quality for skin and hair.
This is definitely sea salt, I can feel and smell it when mixed with water. Dead Sea salt? I have no way of verifying this. I do think the quality is good. It helps my skin and makes a good hair spritz for summertime. I did try a soak once for 20 minutes to try out for pain relief (I noticed none.) If you invest in this, use sparingly for skin and hair (I don’t recommend it for pain relief) and store it properly, it should be a good value and last ages! The only real caveat: It’s a little pricey for salt I can’t verify the contents of.
