Meccano Xmas present
Was got for my daughters Christmas and she loved it and plays with it all the time. I'm now being instructed to tell Santa that he has to bring more next Christmas. So thank you Amazon 😂😂😂👍Joking aside the quality is better than I expected and very sturdy. Far superior from when I was a kid. If you are thinking of buying it then you won't be disappointed and very good value for the money.

Great kit for kids
Brought for my 11yo son. He really enjoyed it and managed to complete it independently.

Fun, high quality ... But..!
Enjoyed making this with the kids. Ended up doing the majority as it's really fiddle at times. Think a 10 year old may struggle.Secondly, we have just got it back out to do some of the build ideas that come with it. Hard to make from the pictures alone (no instructions) so we've been following the video. I've managed. Kids have given up a while ago... 30/40 mins in I ran out of pieces! Not enough (I have fully dismantled the original build) pieces included to build the alternative constructions! Who's bright idea was that?! Very frustrating.With a few of these kits, the possibilities would open up. Not cheap though, so we only have one.High quality materials and the windmill build was great fun.

Suggested improvements
Poor instructions for the the more interesting models shown. The shorter rods are too short. The plastic collars do not stay in place properly, some have been replaced by metal ones.
