This may just be the perfect humidifier! It's quiet, it looks good, it's simple and works great and consistently!One button operation means no huge, lit-up displays and no complications. Press the button to cycle through the modes - light, medium, or heavy mist or smart mode. Smart mode is indeed smart! My last humidifier (the one this replaced) had a whole set up where it would display the humidity in the room then you could set humidity you wanted and it would turn on or off to achieve that. This works just as well, if not better, without the whole multi-button set-up. It displays a different color for each humidity level (orange for low humidity, purple for ok and blue for good humidity level) and it adjusts the mist output accordingly. It is very consistent in it's humidity level sensing with how much the electric heat has been on (stays orange all day on cold days and is often purple on warmer days) which makes me think it's humidity-sensing is fairly accurate.Long press the button to turn off the colored light. The button light will "breathe" for a little bit but then the whole unit is completely dark - a must for using in the bedroom.Also the top fill makes it super easy to fill and clean. I've had it for just about a year and used it for several of those months and it's still going strong! I actually let it get pretty darn scuzzy at one point and it was still working like a champ.It's also got about half the footprint of my last unit which also held 4 liters.All in all this is a sleek, simple, super functional humidifier, the best I've ever had! I even bought a second for another room :) Thanks for the great product!

A friend was raving how much she loved her new Geniani humidifier so I had to jump on this wagon and get one for my own. I noticed after using it only one night with it running a couple feet away from my bed, that I woke up feeling more refreshed and had a deeper sleep. Without humidifiers I often wake up with a very dry throat, due to some snoring and the dry air in my room from a heater running. But not the first morning after having the Geniani running on intermittent mode (I like how there's a sleeping function to turn off the power light) - I believe the air was so much more moist that my throat was taken care of during the night. This Geniani machine has so many incredible features that I could write several paragraphs on it. So I'm going to list the essential pros that I personally enjoy the most:- It's QUIET - I don't hear any motor noises unlike other competitors' ones.- During hotter days, the cool gentle mist feels amazing and cooling when it falls onto my skin and wafts past my face and head. I don't have air conditioning in my apartment, so when summer arrives and the heat swelters outside and my room becomes stuffy, I can't wait to have this machine near my chair when I'm chilling or watching movies and experience its cool down effects.- Sooo Easy to refill. I use distilled or ultra filtered water and you just pour new water into the top refill opening (even while it's still running). Or I can easily just lift the top off and add water there. Older and other models I have used in the past have been very messy with water splashing everywhere when trying to carry the basin to the sink and back to the base. The Geniani is very well-thought out and I can tell the inventor has put great care in its production.- The air in my room feels much more clean and my lungs feel healthier.- I practice hot yoga and now with shelter in place orders due to COVID-19, I have no studio to go to and have to practice in my room on Zoom. This humidifier has helped me create an atmosphere similar to my hot and humid Bikram yoga studio. I simply crank up the heater in my room and put the Geniani next to my yoga mat and it feels like I am in a virtual humid yoga room again - and when I'm laying down in savasana at the end of class and looking up at the Geniani perched on my barstool above my head, I see the glorious cooling mist, ever so gently gliding down onto my face...like a slow motion waterfall...wispy cooling clouds, helping me relax and I smile knowing I have truly invested in a great product. Thank you Geniani for creating a fabulous machine that does so much for people's well-being. I hope you continue to sell TONS of these!

Did well while it lasted! I liked the multiple options for misting. Not sure if something short circuited in my device, but it stopped working, even with different cords and such. Bought in 2023, broke in 2025!

Geniani where have you been all my life! ; )I have spent a couple hours overall reading reviews and tried a PureGardian 1st. Sent it back due to a gurgles of water that woke me and I have hearing loss! It was also a bottom loader so inconvenient. It did a good mist though.What i like so much about Geniani was everything. Top water Loader ( I use distilled water ) very simple no moving the humidifier to bathroom . Misting options 1-5 #1 being a smart mode but to much for me woke up damp. Next night I turned it to low which was perfect slept straight thru the night, very unusual for me.Any light from device is very minimal.I only wanted a 1 to 1.5 gallon so I could not waste the water when I frequently cleaned it as it was only for my medium size bedroom.It's top loading! totally convenient, so easy right there without moving the humidifier. I always put it on a tray anyway to protect furniture just incase.Tried it in kitchen 1st to check noise level before moving to bedroom, put water in and immediately started producing vapor and later no gurgling noise even as it ran out of water.I never thought Id get excited about a humidifier but sleep makes all the difference in my day.Only negatives so far which are far from any issues, 1. spout is non-adjustable but the vapor still goes up a good amount. Not a problem.2. you need to tap the button 1-5 for the setting of your choice and last one turns it off. A non issues really.Note: I've only had this for 1 week so can't talk about cleaning or mineral build up. I use distilled water to try to keep that to a minimum. Very happy with this humidifier so far. I will comment later if needed.
