Solid inexpensive mixer
24/192 Audio is clean and expressive. The audio output is good. Listening to various audio tracks and comparing it to DACs/AMP's I own, it keeps up. I've tested a couple of the tracks and the fader, button, and knobs work as expected. Once downloading and installing the USB Drivers, the USB-C interface works flawlessly so far. Compressor was mentioned by another user, it does work, just extremely subtle in its effect. I have not tested the other FX, honestly I normally avoid on-board FX since they're normally junk, but I'll give these a shot and update the review once I get the chance.Using the SM7B with a CloudLifter does introduce noise, but its not overwhelming. I haven't tried using the SM7B without the cloud, but I'll update once I give it a chance.Right now I'm just getting it setup. Power cable was a bit short for my needs, not the end of the world but I had to get creative during the setup for this initial review. Like I said earlier, I also needed to download the USB-C drivers from Mackie's website, so its not exactly plug & play with Windows 10. Not a deal breaker again, just part of the setup process. This, compared to my old 8 Channel mixer, is leagues better. A lot has changed and it seems like the music industry is really catering to pod casters and streamers, making it fairly simple to setup one of these devices to your computer. Right now I am happy. I'll continue testing and exploring and updating the review as I discover more. Thanks for your time, hope this helped.

Great Sounding Audio Mixer!
The Mackie mixer is an excellent mixer. The sound quality is quite good and so are the effects. In addition, it’s built like a tank and the usb in and out works very well. Just remember to download the proper drivers to your computer from the Mackie website. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Works Great! Arrived Fast!
I was looking for a small mixer to power a pair of mics in a portable setup. So far so good! This board works well, sounds great, and provides some excellent basic mixing needs, including a nice array of effects. I have not fully tested everything, but it seems to be working just fine as an open box item regardless of the previous shipping damage. As a nice bonus, it arrived ahead of schedule! Thank you to the seller...

Great mixer for podcasting and home studio production.
Excellent studio mixer. Ideal for poscasting or home producers. Very sturdy, well made, and the knobs and faders are very easy to use. The only issue I have had is making sure you have the correct drivers so that you can use the CJ sole with DAWs. You have to set up the midi routing for each DAW used, and the presets cannot be saved, so you basically have to configure it each time you load the software you’ll be using it with. I have always been pleased with all the Mackie gear I have in my setup. This console is very similar to the Tascam model 12, which costs 2x as much. The main difference between the two is that the Tascam can be used as a standalone recording suite, whereas the Mackie must be connected to a machine and a DAW. All in all good purchase.

Quality of the Mackie Mixer
Mackie is known throughout the world as one of the best companies for mixers and that says a lot. The Mackie ProFX12v3+ is a 12-channel analog mixer that works flawlessly. The Mackie website is a great help because of the steep learning curve. My electronics background has helped to make things go more smoothly but it's still a lot to digest. Like drinking from a fire hose. I highly recommend this mixer for any and all audiophiles and DJs out there.

Not good for dual PC stream setup!
2 Major flaws for the Pro FX 12v3:#1. Compressor is useless. The compressor did nothing to enhance the audio or sound from any output. I couldn't tell a different at all when turned all the way up or all the way down. My my behringer boards the compressor makes a big difference.#2. channel 9/10 stereo inputs ALSO get mixed with the USB blend nob. I plugged in stereo inputs into channel 9/10 thinking I could use this channel to mix one of my UBS sound cards on. But for some reason I could hear the audio on that channel even with the fader all the way down. Turns out the USB 1-2 Blend nob just takes anything you plug into channel 9/10, effectively making this a 2 stereo channel board, forcing you to use the 2 USB return channels. For some reason channel 11/12 have their own controls on the channel. There's NO reason a physical input should be sending sound to the USB Blend nob! This is unacceptable.I was already concerned with the lack of stereo channels on this board. 3 channels with 1 USB dedicated channel would have been cutting it really close for my setup. But losing another stereo inputs controls and overtaking the USB 1-2 nob with a physical input on channel 9/10 was too much for me.LET ALONE the Compressor doing nothing! Maybe I got a defective board... Mackie built like a tank... Well I wouldn't ride in this tank because it wasn't working right!I have used a few different mixers for streaming over the years. My excitement for this product was very high, I was so happy to finally find a soundboard to replace my behringer. My stream setup uses 2 computers which makes this board a little bad for my situation. I need lots of stereo inputs, and forcing my stream PC to the two stereo USB returns was already difficult for me.I would perfer NO USB return channels and just plugging in the proper amount of sound cards to mix in over this mess. Not good for twitch. Hard pass. Got a beheringer x1832USB to replace my X2222 which just needs some light cleaning and repair after 5 years of daily use.Huge disappointment @MACKIE!
