Build quality is great and it's very fun to play with. When it moves towards the ground, it beeps intermittently but not necessorily inicating metals. When the real target is found, it started to beep at a pace and only stops when you move it out of the target. You need some practice to get the hang of it. We put the coins under the carpet to test it indoor and it picks up the coins without a problem. Although the metal type is not accurate. It also beeps when close to the four feet of out dinner table. I assumed there are metal plates or crews inside the wood. When it's sunny and warm, I decided to give it a shot in our back yard, I found a big metal ring which I have no idea what it is. The accessory tools works perfectly and can be used as great garden tools. Overall, the metal detector works for the purpose to pick up metals. It's a fun toy to carry when hiking, camping or BBQ on the beach during the outdoor seasons. In hope for some real treasure:-)

still learning, had to buy a hand held metal detector to pin point ,,will write more when I get it figured out, but was received very fast, and had a lot of accessories, good value for the money.

Had high hopes for this.. spent 3hrs working with it, balancing it to ground. It could find metal, but thats about it. Missed about 40% of the known targets. Discernment on metals was all over the place on sweeps.

I did like the little travel kit and shovel . Ingenuity was good but it doesn’t function as well as described only reads about 6 inches up (with anything doesn’t matter how solid or big it is ) however it does pick up gold copper aluminum silver ,etc.

Did a reasonable amount of research before pulling the trigger on the Goplus. The price range has many entries, but the Goplus offered the easiest and most understandable user interface without the clutter of unnecessary gimmicks. Add to that the ergonomics of carrying the unit about on challenging landscapes and my wife, who received this as a birthday present, now considers me a 'genius'. This Goplus is well built and does what it claims to do.
