does not fail to impress
the wings are translucent except for the paint job and this gives them a layer of depth and texture that reads like bat wings beautifully

The face and body color don't match.
I know how everyone said the skin color is too pale as compared to the box art. My figure actually got the "best" of the two worlds... the face skin was darker than the body skin. lol This is because they painted the two parts at different times by different staffs. But for $12.99 (this is how much I got mine for), I used this as a garage kit and did a repaint. THE BRA COMES OFF and you can display her topless, nipples and all. The wings are actually CLEAR plastic. Display her in front of lights and she looks amazing.PICTURE HERE: ---> [...] <---Great quality, besides the paint job.

Right...
I am not sure where the idea that this toy looks "Bad***!!!!" comes from. I am a long time (and quite serious) figurine collector, and to be honest... this is not the figure you've been looking for. Stick with McFarlane or any number of the Japanese toys, not only to they look better, but the price is about the same.As for this thing, she looks silly, the expression on her face makes it look as though she has some slight mental malady. The figuring is (from what I could tell, I am not putting this one up with my others to drag their aesthetic qualities down)not open to much manipulation, the hair is obviously put together from "chunks" during assembly, which creates a terrible appearance. Her body is fine, though, for a succubus she is missing some slutiness.Again, there are SO MANY great figurines within this price range made by Revoltech or similar... I would get those instead. Just be careful who you order them from on here, as Amazon doesn't regulate the shipping gouge that is so popular among sellers now. And some of the companies that sell the figures on here will charge you 8$'s for shipping... and your package with arrive post 2 weeks.M

Neca Succubus Action Figure
Just received my copy of the Castlevania Succubus figure. Boy, I'd say the actual paint job on her is so much different then the box art, it's a farce. The face is a simply 2 strokes of heavy eyeliners and not much else. Also the sculpt of the head is decent, it just a big let down compare with Todd McFarlane action figures' finishes. Also the flesh tone is somewhat different in color than the head. The hair also looks very different in sculpt than the box sample figure. All in all it's a nice figure, just don't look at it too close....!

Disappointing
This is my third NECA figure (after Simon Belmont and Alucard) and I'm sorry to say that this may be the one that puts me off NECA from now on. I was impressed with the Simon figure, though the durability leaves something to be desired, and slightly less with the Alucard. Now we've got the Succubus, which I really want to like but for a few big issues.Let's cover the positive points first.*The detail is good, especially on the face. All of the Castlevania figures I own have faces that are well done, and this one is no exception.*The figure has a decent 'cool' value. That is to say, if you can get it displayed on your shelf, the wings add an impressive element.Unfortunately that's about it for the pros. Now the cons.*The figure as displayed on the box is different than the figure IN the box. Essentially, the difference is the bustier. The box shows an respectable amount of cleavage, but the figure itself comes with a 'removable' upper portion to make it less racy, I guess? I say 'removable' in quotes because while you can indeed pry off the top of the bustier to reveal bare breasts, it takes a portion of the paint job with it. It seems they put all the pieces together before the paint is dry. Brilliant.*The biggest disappointment to me was the lack of articulation. In fact, the ONLY joints that move AT ALL are the shoulders, but the problem is most prominent in the legs. This presents a problem when you're trying to get the damn thing to stand up with legs that don't move and are pigeon-toed from being in the box for so long. It feels like NECA eventually determined this was a problem and rather than re-design the figure, instead threw in a half-assed stand at the last second. The 'stand' is easily the smallest figure stand I have ever seen, includes two pegs that DON'T FIT INTO THE FIGURE'S FEET and has absolutely zero hope of actually supporting this winged monstrosity.*The accessories also seem like an afterthought. An axe? When does the Succubus wield an axe in Symphony of the Night? And the Flea-Man is about as useful as the figure stand.Overall, I can't recommend this figure to anyone. But since I know it's in demand by a lot of collectors for its sex appeal and as part of the Castlevania set, I'll just say that you shouldn't set your hopes too high.

Pretty Good Figure, But Meh Paint Job
I was really anticipating this fig. after I ordered it. The production image looked awesome, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the final product. First, the head is not the same as the one in the image... It's features aren't as realistic, but it's not bad. The most disappointing thing though, is the paint job. Like the first reviewer mentioned, her skin tone is very pale. Her face & hands are somewhat flesh tone, but the rest of her is paper white... The lace on her arms looks pretty muddy (they look more like scales) too and the vains in her wings aren't painted black. I was also disappointed that she wasn't toppless like the original sculpt was (saw pics of it online, plus she's toppless in the original Japanese character artwork of her), but wasn't supprised. On the positive side, she's a good sculpt (sans the slightly less realistic looking face) and the little Igor dude that comes with her has a really good paint job. Too bad she doesn't...
