Bright and beautiful
Very bright and beautiful leds. Micro controller could use some work though , far too many modes for only up and down buttons , needs a group mode button that cycles the pattern groups then use the +- to move within each group. Otherwise excellent product

Used these in a color changing lava lamp mod
Needed LED that were on actual printed circuit board so they can better handle the heat so I'm using the outer 2 rings in this mod. The rings are easy to separate along the perforation holes that are provided between the rings. Just a took literally a couple of seconds with a Dremel's cutting disk. These worked out perfect with the help of some aluminized heat shield designed for electrical wires in engines and a bit of tin foil in the middle part at least. Also wrapped the wires in that stuff. I don't know how hot that 150W ceramic heating bulb can get. I melted my desktop thermometer testing it SMH..... lol Whoops. But suffice to say it's really hot, and would probably give an instablister if I directly touched it. Yet these LED have lasted for 2 years now without a single one burning out even in all that heat. That being said though they have started to degrade and don't show colors as accurately as they first did, but that's to be expected. LED and heat don't really go together well. But with how inexpensive these rings are it's no biggie to just replace them after a few years. Was hoping to be able to sync it up with the lighting modes my PC is running but with the lights so close together and the wax not being a very good medium, small changes in color just doesn't show up well on the wax. So instead of running them like most ARGB products are I'm just running them like RGB with all LED changing color at the same time. But oh well you can't have everything in life. I'm still really happy with how the mod came out and being normal 5v ARGB it let me run it off the same controller and software the rest of my lighting is run off of.

It works as expected.
Fired it up, all LEDs lit. It's a standard 3-wire addressable ws2812. Have not tried programming my own pattern(s) yet. (Arduino code on Teensy with Octo board.) It is pretty bright with all those LEDS (241) concentrated into a six-inch circle. Not melt-my-mind amazing, but it is kinda' cool if you like LEDs. Each circle has it's own plugs, unit could be separated into individual LED rings if you so wanted. Functions as expected, no negatives to note.Comes with a little program module that takes 5v/ground (2 wires only) and outputs a data signal with 2 or 3 patterns, can toggle some colors on those. Has standard ws2812 3-wire plug for output. (5v/ground/data.) Patterns looks like the video.-----------------------02/13/25 - It's been a while. My head is working on programming... coming soon. The center and each ring has an in and out plug. They come plugged together into a 241-LED 'string'.Pondering code to rotate a shape (Perhaps a heart or a smile or clock-hands?) or maybe blink an 'eye'Assembly detailsLEDs Addresses, as one stringCenter 1 1Ring 1 8 2-9Ring 2 12 10-21Ring 3 16 22-37Ring 4 24 38-61Ring 5 32 62-93Ring 6 40 94-133Ring 7 48 134-181Ring 8 60 182-241Will add more notes as I get there.

Eight easily separable rings with latge pixels
I was worried that theywould not work after snaping them apart. They were easy to separate and these are the same size pixels that are on the 16x16 matrix. Some of the rings out there have smaller pixels want the same price for less than half the fixels and small rings. They all work great. The wires are terrible alloys on all the china made neopixels. I always remove and discard their poor excuse for wire. It fets how. I/d buy it again. and remove the wires again too. I'd rather they knock a couple bucks off and don't solder any wires on.

Very low quality, but will definitely work when you get it correct
This light is totally defective. Only 3 led lights are working and the control switches are not functioning correctly!Returning todayUpdate, second one after the exchange is working perfectly fine! They need to test the items before sending it.

Just what I needed.
Very happy with this purchase. Needed 60 addressable RGB LEDs in a ring configuration to make a hybrid clock with hour, minute and second hands represented by single LEDs of different colors moving on a single "track". Using an ESP32S3 clone to control the LEDs. Bonus for the clockwise layout as the LEDs are addressed left to right, or clockwise in it's ring form factor. This makes controlling in a clockwise LED motion easy to program as indexing the LEDs goes from 0 to 59. Comes with a small controller which I have not used but is nice to have. The product was well packaged to protect it during shipping and handling. Wished I had a CAD file that show the exact position of the LEDs window so I could make a decorative cover for it and expose only the LED lights. Would buy it again if needed.

I got two that didn't work.
I was very excited about finally working with the WS2812B rings. I had hoped to put this into a computer case project I'm commissioned to build. However, after the first set I received my hopes dwindled. The first ring set was only partially bad. 99.59% bad. Nothing lit up at first. I suspected the controller so I tested that on two other RGBLED strips and it worked fine. I started to connect the controller to each ring individually and only got the center LED to work. Another ring partially lit wrong and then sparked. That set went back. The second ring set was just DOA. Now, this set is going back. This would have been a perfect 5 stars if it worked. It would have been an excellent value and I would have recommended this to anyone wanting to play with RGBLEDs like Neopixels. With this failure rate, make sure you can return it if you decide to try it.
