Q: Really, $164 for three pliers?

I stalked this set and waited for the price to hit a low point about a year and a half ago. Got them for 134. Based on inflation of all this stuff, 164 does not seem that high. Might drop back to 150/155 range if you wait. Then again might go out of stock. I can tell you they are amazing. I use them everywhere, plumbing, automotive, general home. They replaced a few tools for me. Solid as a wrench when the opening is set correct. Faster than channel locks. You get what you pay for my friend, and you will love them.

Q: what are the max Nut size for each pair? I have machiens with 22-30mm nuts to remove sometimes.

I measured mine but then had to convert inches. to mm. The maximum gaps are 27, 31, and 47 mm +/- 1 mm. The pliers are very nice to use but you do have to fiddle a bit with the push button to have it drop in the right setting when adjusting the size. My arthritis doesn't help matters in that regard. If the size is right for you, buy 'em. The quality is worth every penny of the price.
