This review is from installing on a 2015 Ram 1500. So far, this light strip works perfectly! Like others have suggested, I used neodymium magnets to mount mine to the back of the truck. This seems to work very well, and allows me to move the strip if I need access to the hole in the back for lowering the spare tire.I also wanted to make sure my wiring was clean, so I didn't want to simply plug the 4 flat into the back of my truck. Many have suggested the Curt USCAR harness that gives you a 4 flat pigtail under the vehicle. However, this means that if you want the reverse light, you have to dig into another area to get it spliced in, either the center plug on your 7 blade, or from the wiring bundle heading up to the driver's side tail light. The 5th plug on this is reverse! Makes it a bit simpler for splicing in that last wire to activate the reverse light function. I happened to buy the wiring kit at Autozone for about $26. This made the whole installation just that much easier!For moisture protection, I used copious amounts of electrical tape, both for the wiring harness and the ends of the light strip. We'll see how that goes, but I do live in a relatively dry area, so I'm hoping for the best!

i could not use it on the truck

So far so good. I originally bought these for one of my trucks do to unforseen breakdown. I went and bought cargo carrier for My car. So I figured why not use them on the cargo carrier. After reading all reviews I didn't even want to mess with sticking them on. I just used the clear zip ties and several people said if they get wet, they're done. Well I got a can of silicone and coated them well. Well see but as of today they work and look really nice.Oh the wiring was loose so I used shrink tubing to try and make them last longer.After 3 days of heavy use loading and unloading products they still look and work great. Wish I would of bought 2. They really help make you more visible in this crazy traffic.

Sticky glue on back is completely worthless had to use CRV glue from end to end the screws they send for the brackets are completely waste had to go get some metal screws and broke all the brackets had to make custom brackets just to make it work but the light itself works okay still trying to figure out why the caution light comes on first when you hit the brakes that's kind of annoying

Extremely low quality product. Very dim, and does not light correctly for US vehicles. No turn signal when brakes are lit. Lights solid yellow on brake for 5 second then turns dim red. Save your money

These are so bright besides the amber turn signal. The value is fantastic. We will see how it holds up with the waterproof coating but they fit perfectly on a 09-18 ram

Mine lasted 18 months. Hasn't completely quit, but several LEDs are no longer working.

So in my case I used this on a 2016 ford fiesta hatchback. My car has yellow turn signals making it a 5 wire hookup. So what I did was simply use the running light wire for my brake light and because the turn and break are 1 I couldn't hook it up to the break light because it merged my brake and turn signal into 1 signal. Anyways it does work as described and is very bright. To enhance the lights since it is not facing out, instead it's facing downward. I used mirror tape. All in all it worked as planned... The only issue was it's slightly longer on the right but not too drastic...
