Do you view a positive image of the negative?

What you see on the screen is what is on the film. There are no electronics that could be used to modify the image in any way. It works exactly like your slide projector.

The colors on my negatives are the wrong color. Does the viewer fix the colors?

No the viewer does not fix colors. It shows you what is there.

I have large box of old slides. thicker. photos from fifty’s i lost old viewfinder. help

Many of my slides are from the 50’s & 60’s. If the slides are thicker than the new ones they may not eject & I just pull them out with tweezers. If the slides are newer they eject nicely.
