Worked perfectly
Arrived quickly, very easy to install, I made four metal plates for under the plywood to increase strength.

Excellent quality for the price
Excellent quality for the price, cheaper than local farm supply and same quality. See template, these are large, and will handle medium 1500lb. shackle or chain hook. Rings are spring loaded, so they retract.Happy with the product, this is an up or down vote for me.-Use a hole saw to install, I didn't need to modify the hole. Make sure you use grade bolts, large washers when mounting through 1.5" lumber on most trailers. Bolt half of the tie-down to the steel subframe if possible...be smart...if the item to which you are bolting these to won't hold the weight limit, then the product won't either...the working value listed is for the break strength of the product, not your installation.

Great tie down rings--- But
I purchased 2 sets, three days apart, and ended up with a different set . The one on the Left came in first and has a spring , The second set came in with one lock washer that had no chance in 'D'ring heaven to touch enough to hold in place , I ended up placing a spring in place of the worthless one lock washer so it would not raddle its life away. Somewhere in the yokohama D-ring restaurant,I mean manufacturing things got a little confusing .I mig welded them in place and worked great . I was a little hungry after welding them in . They smelled a little bit like Teriyaki .

Great cargo D-rings, exactly the product it's meant to be
Delivered on time. Great cargo d-rings to secure cargo to or inside a transport trailer. These are far from being adequate for transporting heavy equipment such as a 10,000lb tractor or more. Backup plates on this particular item, not included and not needed. Let me explain why they may not be needed if the d-rings are installed according to the weight of the cargo. The back-up plates are only needed if the wood flooring is adequate for the weight of the cargo. Keep in mind, that "wood floor" is most likely not as strong as the steel/aluminum frame of the trailer. The weight of the cargo attached to a typical 3/4" (some 1/2") plywood will help decide what's more important in a hard turn, emergency stop, close call, a wreck, overturn, or jack-knife. 2nd are the tie down straps, how many, and their working load rating compared to the actual weight of the cargo. I transport up to 2 large 1,200 pound motorcycles in a 20 foot cargo trailer, (valued at $10,000 to $100,000) or 1 side x side up to 1,500 pounds. My cargo will be attached by at least 4 straps connected to 4 d-rings. I use a minimum of 4 with a working load of 1,000 pounds each (that's 4,000 pounds holding the bike to the d-rings collectively) Overkill to a point but, the key factor to keep in mind, are you attaching the load to the plywood or attaching the trailer to the load (more likely desired). When sht happens, cargo weight vs trailer weight, the heavier of the 2 is the controlling factor. With all this said, if you're hauling bicycles or a small riding mower (under 1,000 pounds) using 4 of them rated at 2,000 pound working load each (never use less than 4 for stability), attached to the plywood flooring without the back-up plate is good enough. With no reservation, I would recommend this set of 4 to anyone keeping the cargo vs trailer weight, and safety in mind.
