No returns?No refunds?No worry!Order @ nawapo!
This Minnesota wildrice is absolutely the best! But order directly from Red Lake Nation! They are wonderful & answered the phone immediately & felt so bad how I was treated by Amazon, the employee I spoke with replaced my order in entirety including shipping out of her own pocket ! I was blown away ! Of course this isn’t her company policy to do what she did; but is great example of how wonderful Indigenous First Nations people generally are. Putting others begore themselves & not trying to cut corners to increase profits.Too bad the bag was punctured by the box of the other item I ordered & I received abt 3 lbs of rice from the 5lbs that was originally in package. Thanks, Amazon ! Maybe you should pay your help way more money & increase the number of employees instead of fattening corporation stockholders Then maybe customers wouldn’t receive packages carelessly thrown together by severely underpaid workers rushing to meet a corporate quota! The rice was spilled all over the bottom of the box. Sounded like a rattle when I picked the box up off my porch & left a trail of rice which must of worked it’s way between folds in the box from the perpetual movement & now was seeping out of the cracks in the box.I was furious when I was unable to figure out how to talk to a customer support person; if they even still exist @ Amazon .

Best rice in the world, Feed your primal side & your most picky human
Best rice in the world. Unadulterated grown as it has been with no modification for eons by the Red Lakes Nation the indigenous population in Minnesota. This rice almost went extinct from over-harvesting from settlers; I am abundantly thankful the Red Lakes Nation brought it back from the brink of Extinction. This is a high-quality rice. You will not find any dust in it is super clean. When cooking it takes a little bit of longer to cook & a little more water: it’s a bit longer & densely packed with nutrients. It has beautiful flavor and texture. Whether I cook a little pot or a large pot for leftovers, you can freeze it or in the fridge it stays perfect, reheat in a pot with a little bit of water and steam Or make a cold rice salad; Simple & Perfect every single time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s amazing. Even as simple as butter and salt. My first experience was eggs over easy laid on top of the rice with broccoli & butter for breakfast, kept me going & satisfied. I store mine in a half gallon mason jar. It looks gorgeous. People are so amazed by its beauty, its flavor and its amazing texture. Even the most picky of Humans have enjoyed it thoroughly. It is an ancient grain that feeds your primal side; Primal foods are essential to a healthy life

Great quality, good price
Fabulous, well priced, all whole pieces and not busted up. Wildrice has been a staple of mine since I was a kid in the 50's growing up in the upper midwest. It is grown and mass produced in other states now and it was only recently I saw I could buy this from a northern nation, still hand culled from what I understand. I live in the SW and it's not easy to find here. Note: it's not rice; google some different ways to cook it, but 20 min in a pressure cooker, with some broth and it's a meal! I often mix it, (AFTER cooking separately) with farro or quinoa, etc for additional nutrition. Add to soups, salads or eat alone with a bit of butter. BTW cooked wildrice freezes really well. I'm still surprised how often I meet people who have not eaten it or even heard of it. I recently gave a small part of my 5lb bag to a friend who just became a US citizen telling her it's the most North American gift I could give her! When I lived in Japan I loved serving it to Japanese at meals in my home, but I had to remind them: this is not rice! It's better. I will buy from these guys again.
