This fit my old Kenmore gas dryer perfectly. Was within the specs and easy to install. Unfortunately it was not the problem and had to buy a new dryer but if it ever needs repairs will check to see if they have the parts.

an easy inexpensive replacement to save on a big repair bill

I was repairing my dryer and got the correct piece. However, for some reason it was tilted in the opposite direction then my original. Just made it very difficult to screw in. Unfortunately it didn't appear to work and when I unscrewed it I noticed a lot of scratching on the back. Now this scratching look like it was done with a screw or a nail except when I was screwing it in, the screws didn't go anywhere near there nor was it against a rough surface. So I don't know if it was just mine or if they were all like this. I'm sure this is not a product which flies off the shelf so for all I know it was sitting there for so long getting damaged or for all I know it could also have been a used part and they sent it as new. Either way it did not work and I had to get a different one
