These are thinner than others I've used but work perfectly. The thinner felt actually works better for tightly nesting pots, pans or glass bowls, and when the size is appropriate still protects all surfaces just fine.

I use these to separate my grandmother’s vintage Pyrex bowls and Corningware baking dishes while they are in my cupboards. This helps prevent accidental scratches and chipping. I love that there’s several different sizes to choose from. The felt is thin, but these are not meant to be protection from major damages, just protection from minor dings, since we still use these dishes frequently.

I have a similar set someone gave to me several years ago that are twice as thick as these. I don't know where they got the other set. I liked the different colors, etc. so I ordered these. I read all the reviews beforehand so I expected them to be thin. My old ones are twice as thick as these. However, they do the job .

Thin material as described in other reviews however this is actually good for flexibility conforming to different shapes of different pots/pans. There is plenty of them in the right sizes that worked well for a 13 piece pan set bought at the same time with extras for other pans. It's a good deal and the protection value is very good overall. I like that they're thinner, not too thick, inflexible or require cutting to fit.

These are workable but thin. I have to double up.

I have a lot of glass containers that can get stuck together so these are great. Also good to separate nonstick pans
