These were a gift 🎁.They were easy to set up, put one in a lamp socket and turn on the power, it should light up, then say "Alexa discover my device" (or similar, it's in the included instructions). You can then change its name in the Alexa app. Done!If it needs to be re-setup or it doesn't turn on when you first apply power, turn it on and off several times quickly (again, in the instructions - 4 or 8 times I think)These are very similar to the Sengled colour bulbs (which I have) except just white. So far they've been fairly reliable and work well in a table lamp.They are also fairly bright and can be dimmed.Theses could be useful for regular lighting if you're unable to replace the switch with a remote dimmer for some reason (rental, wall box too small, etc).If so, you'd either want to group them or maybe name them the same for multiple bulb fixtures (Not sure if the Alexa app lets you duplicate names, but you can group)Thought I already reviewed this, so if I find pictures I'll post them, but theses basically look like any other frosted LED lightbulb in a box. Of my two bulbs one was in a perfect box and the other was taped closed.

Set up took 2 seconds, and works so well with my Echo Dot! I love being able to turn my reading lamp off without getting out of bed. The did function is also really nice in the evening.

Have 3 bulbs installed. Was very easy to install if I remember (2022 - it's now 2024). BUT they all stopped working at the same time. Long gone are the instructions. Hard to figure out how to reconnect them! So I WOULD have given 5 stars, but the list connection lost a star and hard to reconnect lost a second star.UPDATE - after a 2 hour, frustration fest, I did a deep dive into the interwebs. Why the manufacturer doesn't suggest this as the FIRST thing to try, is beyond me. Unplug ALEXA, wait 30 seconds, plug Alexa back in. Once Alexa has re-booyed, everything works fine. Have a star back. Only 4 stars since the manufacturer is lame, their app is terrible (you don't need it to add these to Alexa), their website sucks to get any help.
