Black Pearl Amaryllis Holiday Gift Growing Kit, Includes: Big Black Pearl Bulb, Plastic Pot and Saucer, and Professional Growing Medium

First timer planter. They turned out beautiful. To be completely transparent I was hoping that the color would be a little darker. As you can tell by the photo, it is close to the standard red, but is still noticeably darker. Mine are in peak bloom after 6 weeks.

This bulb not only produced beautiful flowers and was quite prolific. Planted bulb 11/21/23, had first blossom 12/28/23. Pic is of last of 4(!!!!) stalks that produced 4, 5, 6 (!), and 4 blossoms respectively, for a total of 19.Would both recommend and buy again.Simply stunning 😍

So disappointed my plant never flowered

This is our second year ordering this gorgeous flower. Last year the bloom was absolutely exquisite. This year the heat in Las Vegas (where it was shipped to a friend) damaged the bulb but this seller cheerfully and immediately replaced it! We are delighted with this seller and the beautiful product.

It’s lighter than the picture shown by the seller. It’s more like red, not as dark as the picture. But it’s still easy to grow and beautiful.

Received one of these last year as a gift. It was gorgeous. Beautiful color, huge flowers. One of the prettiest Amaryllis I have ever had. Decided to purchase one after the holidays. Came today. First I noticed the bulb box wasn’t shut completely. When I opened it there was wadded newspaper in the top of the box. Removed that. And there was the bulb…..in the box……upside down. Not your normal bulb packing. The bulb looks healthy but shows no sign of a bud stalk peeking from anywhere. Which is why I think it may have been returned. Now I’m in a quandary……do I keep it, plant it and take a chance on it? Will let you know later.After leaving the bulb out of the box in an upright position it began to improve. The pale floppy area has firmed up and is either a bud stalk or leaves. So I planted it. Will let you know later if it recovers enough to put out a bud stalk and bloom.Several weeks later….. it is growing. But so far only leaves. Still no signs of a bud stalk anywhere. Beginning to doubt it will produce a bud stalk.April. Yes….it bloomed! Produced 2 flower stalks together which took turns producing beautiful flowers. As they were fading, up came a third stalk. It is now blooming. Fantastic bulb.

I purchased this amaryllis a few weeks ago and it had the tip of a bud showing.Today it now has three decent size buds growing.I will purchase again from this company.

Bought this interesting bulb plant for my wifes’ birthday the end of November, and,she waited until after Christmas (I kept it sealed in the container and dark cool environment) and lo and behold,a lovely flowering miracle!!
