The thickness was good, and for the money I believe this is a good item.Used on 1999 BMW 328i and it worked fine. Unless I ran a shop,i would recommend this for owners, and casual users.I do NOT believe it is weak, therefore recommend.worked for me.

works as per design
I probably didn't need to buy this but saved time over trying to find one to rent/borrow from an auto parts store. I probably won't need to use this again, but I have it just in case. Was a fairly inexpensive tool to add to the cabinet.

The holes on the tool don’t fit the water pump bolts and are useless
The wrench worked but the tool to use to hold the water pump bolts are absolutely useless

It worked
It’s a pretty simple wrench but it gets the job done. Used it on my F-150 to get the fan off. I tried to get the fan off without the tool but couldn’t, so we bought it and it worked out well.

Not the right fit
Holes and relief notch on counter hold tool didn’t line up at all with 2 water pump pulley screws as intended.After struggling with it a while, rotating the fan belt, coming at it from different angles, I came to the conclusion that these holes must not be done right. One end the relief cutout wasn’t deep enough to get halfway around the fan nut. On the other, thought for sure the slotted hole was going to work but the cutout and the slot were too far apart.In the end I got it loose using a janky hold on just 1 of the 4 pulley bolts. Like another reviewer I tried filing away some of the extra metal getting in the way.But if you have to buy a specialty tool and then modify it to fit the intended part, it’s just not the right tool in my mind.Would not recommend.
