Not the fanciest, but gets the job done . . . .
We bought this stand for the "Nintendo dungeon" where our kids and their friends play video games. The Good:* Stupid-easy to assemble* Relatively Inexpensive* Built in cable ports and power strip are thoughtfully laid out.* Generous amount of spare screws and small parts includedThe So You-Know-What-You're Getting Into:* Screw heads visible on exterior of stand. Better designed flat-pack furniture (i.e., Ikea) doesn't have this problem. You won't see this stand featured in "Architectural Digest." That said, having a rats nest of cables hanging down the wall to a game console on the floor looks much worse.* Imperfect alignment of some holes. Nothing fatal, but again, understand that "HOOBRO" isn't Chinese for "Ikea"* You'll likely have to drill your own holes if you're attaching this to studs underneath a drywall wall.* Eco-hostile packaging (i.e., lots of frangible polystyrene which leaves static-y white droppings around the house)

Can't even mount it to wall in its current state.
This unit cannot be adequately mounted to a wall with the hardware that comes with in the box. There are two small holes in the back of the unit where screws should go into the wall. That's it, two screws to support all your expensive electronic equipment. They're not mounting brackets, they're not thick screws running thru a metal threaded socket, they're just two thin screws that you put thru the equally small holes in the plywood backing with out even a washer to help give more support. What's worse is the screws aren't even at 16" spacing so you can forget about anchoring this unit into two studs out of the box. I had to go to Home Depot and buy some iron shelf supports then screw those into studs then rest the entire unit on these supports and awkwardly try to screw the unit to the iron supports from inside the side shelves. You'll need a micro screwdriver, there's not room in the side shelves for a full size screwdriver. And don't even think about using this to support a TV. It is not strong enough. Just get some iron shelf supports and do your best to make it work. A solution like this should have been included in the box. I didn't return it because I needed something mounted and working quickly and didn't want to spend the time shipping this back and getting something else. Be warned, this is not usable as a wall mounted stand without purchasing extra tools and equipment.
