it filed down my sharp broken tooth
I have had a chipped tooth for a few weeks now and it was really hurting my tongue, if you had or have a Sharpe chipped tooth you know exactly what I mean. I couldn't wait for this to arrive. lots of mixed reviews I was a little sceptical if it would do the job.in short I used the pink file and within in 10 secs no more sharp tooth and the relief is wonderful.for any chipped sharp tooth defo a good choice but use slowly and carefully but worked great and once again the relief is wonderful, well worth the 10 pounds

Absolute rubbish!
I reckon there is at least 2mm run out on this. Apart from not even grinding a finger nail, it chatters to badly it would be of little use for anything. Off it goes, back to Amazon, where hopefully, it can then go straight into landfill!

Works perfect on crowns
Bought to reduce the length of a front crown to match other teeth and after months of being paranoid and not smiling this tool has worked absolute wonders and am able to smile again. Highly recommend and thank you very much

Does as it says but batteries do not seem to last or the switch is a bit dickie, one of the two, but overall very pleased.

Rubbish
First of all this is for nails not teeth! It says so on the machine lol. I only wanted to file a back broken tooth slightly as it was jagged and the point on it is cutting my tongue up so its difficult to talk, eat or swallow. I havent been to the dentist in 40 years and presumed it would take ages for an apointment anyway and thats if one would take me onto there books. It comes in a very poor quality purple drawstring bag with threads hanging off it. The instructions are very vague and with a lot of chinese writing surrounding it. I could not get it to work as it did not come with batteries, but more importantly I tried at least 5 different branded AA batteries and they would not fit. If I had forced them in then the device would have cracked and the batteries outer layer damaged. Probably would have got the batteries stuck too. I tried some AAA on the off chance but they just rattled around in the device. I do not know how they could have manufactured something that is to be powered by batteries only for the batteries not to fit. Do they have slightly smaller AA batteries in China? This is of a very poor manufacturing quality, I would advise to avoid at all costs and look for something else. I've started a return request with Amazon and ordered a cordless rotary tool instead for £25, as my partner always tells me you go cheap on these things you end up buying twice. I'm just gonna hope for the best and use a sanding or filing attachment on the rotary tool and pray I don't make it worse before I can be seen by a professional.

Good little tool.
This is a great little tool, BUT DO NOT use this on your bare teeth. I see reviews that say that it will hurt your enamel. Well, of course it will. This is not for that. This is to be used for smoothing some dental cement filler, or at the most, if a tooth breaks and you're left with a sharp edge that's hurting your tongue, to smoth that sharpness a bit.For that, it's brilliant, but DO NOT use this on your teeth for plaque removel.

NOT for teeth
This product isnt for use on teeth! Its used for polishing and shaping false nails. I showed it to my dentist who said ' No way would you want to use this on your teeth! It would caise untold damage. Its a cheap and nasty product to boot and isnt worth the price being asked. The type of item you would find in pound shop!
