Speed sensor magnet.
I bought this motor and followed instructions. My issue is that the instructions do not indicate that the magnet inside of your old motor needs to be swapped to the new motor. I did not know this and for the past 2 months my cart has been stuck in a “limp mode” driving only 5mph. You need to remove your old motor magnet and install into the new motor. $860 later of me replacing parts and now I have finally figured it out. Good motor so far with it only going 5 mph. Feels strong but is still brand new. Perfect fit for my 05 ezgo txt pds.
