Strong
I've always purchased electric tools to avoid dealing with gas/oil mixtures, but went ahead and ordered this one. I read many of the reviews and decided to take a leap of faith. I'm a person who read all the instructions and I would suggest and recommend that you do. I looked at few youtube videos for reviews and instructions, but what I found were a few people trying to talk and show you how to use the equipment but I quickly noticed that they didn't know what they were doing and they didn't bothered to look at the manual. A guy couldn't even hook up the trimmer to the belt so he went ahead and went to cut brushes by holding it. What a fool! If you read the manual and try the harness before hand it will help you a lot. I didn't have any problems starting it the first time, I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS, and it went well. It started quick and I went to work. It is powerful and heavy, but it you set your harness correctly it will work wonders. I did have a problem after about 30 minutes cutting brushes. Everything started shaking hard and all of a sudden the lower shaft rotated. I know I locked the pin and tighten the screw with the plastic knob included, however, it seems that the plastic knob must've stripped and it didn't tighten the knut completely. I had to stop and work on it for a bit to get pin to lock the shaft in place and then tighten the screw with tools. After that it went well for a good while. NOTE: The kit didn't come with a cutter pin to lock the screw that holds the blade in place. If your kit doesn't have one, GET ONE, and lock the nut in place. Other than that I was able to cut through a lot and fairly quick. I've only used it once for about two hours so we'll see how it goes in few days. I hope this information helps.UPDATE: I used the trimmer again on 26 December and it started right away. I like the trimmer. As I said before, if you balance the handlebars correctly with the harness it will work wonders. The harness itself is the one thing I'm not too happy, nevertheless, the one it came with works. If you intend on using it frequently I would strongly suggest you get a better one. I'll be looking for one myself. The trimmer itself, is awesome so far.

Can Cheap Be This Good
To be honest I was concerned about buying this weed trimmer brush cutter as I had never heard of the Brand Name before and also the very cheap price may be a red flag.I owned for 12 years a Stihl grass trimmer brush cutter so in a way I am comparing this one with the Stihl which today costs around $ 700.00.Now this trimmer is a bit on the heavy side and at first that was a bit of a disappointment. However when one wears the strap I find it does a nice balance and it no longer feels heavy. In fact it balances better than my Stihl which blew a piston and that is why I bought this one. I have not yet used the harness that comes with this machine as it looks complicated to put on. I just used my simple belt that came with my Stihl. My Stihl blades also fit on to this machine but not the grass trimmer head. Now I found the instructions kind of not great as far as assembly instructions. I just looked at the picture from the listing on here to see how it should be done. Really not a lot to do. Just install the handle bars with the 4 screws and also install the lower plastic safety housing at the bottom of the shaft and also install the shaft into the main shaft. All tools needed come with the package.I found it extremely difficult to pull the starter cord.I could only pull it out about 8 inches and not fast enough to ever start it. I wondered whether the piston was stuck or something. I decided to remove the Spark Plug and see if I can see the Piston move. The piston did move and now with no compression it was real easy to pull the cord. I re-installed the spark plug and now to my surprise it was verily easy to pull out the cord and in two pulls it started right up.I think the engine had never ever been started and my 10 pulls or so with the spark plug out lubricated the piston chamber and that is why it became easy to pull the cord. If you also find it very hard to pull the cord at first, remove the spark plug and give it at least 10 pulls and you will then see a huge difference.I was surprised on how easy this starts. The bulb that one squeezes before starting is kind of hard to see, so one has to look for it.One question I ask myself is how does one remove the gray plastic housing that encompasses the carburetor as there are no screws to remove. Also can one buy parts as in spark plugs, ignition coils and carburetors if one had to replace those.I used it to cut some two inch sapling trees with the blade that has chain saw teeth and it cut through those little trees like hot butter. So far I like it almost better than the Stihl. Maybe ask me 6 months from now if I will still say that. Being cheap how long will it last? .Also when one installs the blades or weed trimmer head one must turn the screw to the left to tighten as it is left handed thread set up. To take off turn to the right. There is also a little hole at the base where one sticks in a pin to stop the blades from turning so one can tighten or loosen it. I think all weed trimmers have that. The headset included is a joke. I tried making every adjustment and it does not even come close to fitting over my head. I think it may fit a two week old baby’s head. The safety glasses not my style and the gloves are not great. No big deal. I would sooner see a 10.00 price reduction and leave those useless items out.So far with my limited use I am really impressed. I used a 1 Liter to 40 oil mix and also used Premium 91 High Octane gas. Manual says to use 1/50 mix and regular gas, while on this listing it says to use 1/40 mix for gas. So which is the real deal?

Very impressed for the price
Was very skeptical at first due to the low price. Yes the instructions are terrible but it’s not hard to figure out. The plastic components are a little brittle but it doesn’t matter. Starts up very easily, has lots of power and comes with great accessories. Yes it’s heavy, but they all are and it comes with a harness for a reason. It works great and I have used it quite a lot on some very heavy brush. Would I buy it for commercial use? No i wouldn’t. But it’s great for the home or cottage. Great purchase, highly recommended.

Lot's of power, worst manual in history, bad customer service, terrible product.
Review update:After a few uses, the tube covering the shaft failed where the two pieces joined. It took over a month to get the problem fixed. First I emailed the company and did not hear back. Later they informed me that my email went into their junk folder. They offered to send me a used replacement part, but I held out for a new one. It worked with the new part, but vibrated a lot. The gasket on the shaft fitting wanted to come out (see photo)I have only used this trimmer about 30 times, and today the vibration suddenly got very bad , like something was out of balance. I looked down, and lubricating oil was coming out of the fitting where the two shafts join (see picture). The only opinion I can offer is that the poor customer service is exceeded only by the terrible quality of the product itself. The good:- Very powerful. I was able to cut through thickets of blackberries, stems up to an inch and a half in diameter, with no problems. I bumped a cedar fence picket by accident, and it cut right into it.- Comes with lots of accessories.- For me it started easily every time. Others have indicated it floods easily. I give the fuel pump two presses, pull it one time with the choke on, and then once with the choke off. It has always started on the second pull- The included fuel bottle makes it easy to mix the oil and gasoline in the proper ratio (fill the two compartments appropriately and then pour the whole thing into the fuel tank. The bad:- The manual makes ikea instructions look like a NASA manual. The depiction of how the handlebars go on was different in different pictures. It took me several tries to get the handlebars on correctly and figure out how to get the nut off the end of the shaft (there is a hole in the housing through which you can insert a small rod or phillips screwdriver and insert it also into a matching hole in the shaft to hold the shaft in place while you loosen the nut). I wasted an hour or so figuring out how to assemble it. Thank you youtube for saving me.- There is foam padding on the shaft above the handlebars. I braced the shaft against my hip or thigh during use, and the padding tore and fell off after an hour or so.- The blade guard can be a hinderance in brush.- It vibrates a lot, which is expected, but be prepared for residual muscle and finger numbness and shakiness after using it for a while. The bottom line:It works great, and for me has been worth the price and hassle.I have only used it with the chainsaw tooth blade on Himalayan blackberries. But it laid waste to the brambles with no hesitation or resistance. I was able to sweep it back and forth through brambles up to 6 feet high and left behind a trail of foot long stem chunks. You definitely want to respect this machine. It can kickback. It can throw debris. It is noisy. And if it hit a body part, it would do serious damage. Heavy clothes, googles or a face shield, and good ear plugs are all musts. The harness has a crotch protector for a reason. The goggles that come with it were too cheap for me to trust.
