Outstanding purchase - Moen quality is excellent.
Very upscale look, as long as you have the same Moen cartridge mechanism installation is A BREEZE. Shower knob and faceplate fit over existing cartridge structure perfectly!! And ours was 20 yrs old or more. Spout is slip on with key screw, and Shower head works perfectly - just use Teflon tape. I am one of the least handy people I know :) and installation took 1/2 hr just because I was trying to be careful. Wife and I are VERY impressed :) Bathroom upgrade for about $100 WOW!!!!!!!

You need a MOEN Hex to install this
Pros1 looks great2 can replace old Moen fixture (didn’t have to buy valve because prior fixture also Moen)3 saved $50 (cheaper than big box stores)Cons1 You MUST have Moen hex/Allen wrench/key to install knob. We had to buy Moen handle kit from Loews just to get the key/wrench (that was $27). Or Home Depot sells the Moen knob repair kit for 5.99 which includes the wrench/key but you can only get online2 awful instructions (watched several Ytube videos)3 inside of plate has a 3/4inch cushion (had to trim)4 shower head short and not flexibleGood buy but needs some tweaks. I thought everything was used because of the way it came packaged . Nothing was really sealed except the hardware. Everything else was wrapped in paper or placed inside of a plastic bag. I believe these kits are made for builders and not every day home owners.

Looks great, and the different settings are nice
This is a great shower head. Looks great, feels like great quality, and easy to install and use. If you want better flow, remove the colored plastic bit inside the shower head. It's easy to pull out with some needle nose pliers.Take special care to install the tub spout, it slides onto the pipe and seals with an o-ring. If not careful, the o-ring can be pulled out of it's slot, causing water to spray from the back of the spout at the wall, and reduce shower flow.

My plumber like it
I bought this because I needed the type of valve. My new plumber who is phenomenal was able to install it over a faulty first shower installed. It looks great. And doesn’t spot readily.

Really poor quality
I’m blown away that Moen would put out such a low quality product. Everything just looks so cheap and none of it really looks or works well at all.The tub spout, according to the directions, is supposed to have a piece that goes between it, and the wall where the spout bolts into. I spent 45 minutes, searching, high and low all over my work area for that piece because it wasn’t in the box. Called Moen, turns out that pie isn’t even included. Without it, the tub spout is really wobbly and loose. It just has one tiny little set screw to hold it onto the copper pipe, but you can’t really tighten it much because you don’t want to ruin the copper pipe.Furthermore, I bought the Moen mixer valve to go with it because I wanted to make sure I had a quality mixer valve. After the whole thing was done, I tiled the walls, I turned it on, and it is a faulty mixer valve that leaks. It’s not leaking from my connections. It’s leaking from the inner cartridge. Again I called Moen and they said it’s a bad cartridge and I have to replace it.After gutting and renovating an entire bathroom, just to get to the finish line to have to wait on parts and do extra work is incredibly frustrating.Clearly, Moen is riding on its reputation of having previously good products, but now they are cutting corners and putting out very bad products. I would highly recommend staying away from this.
