High Quality
I monitor recess time at elementary school and needed a whistle to corral the kiddo's. High quality. Great value and works great. Kiddo's have no issues hearing the whistle from one side of the playground to the other. Comes three to a pack to share with friends or incase the one you are using is misplaced.

Works Great to Call My Deaf Dog (Don't Laugh!)
My dog was trained very young to come to my whistling. However, the little guy is now almost completely deaf, but he can hear this whistle. I am sure my neighbors hate me, but I use it to call him back inside when he's out wandering through my back yard jungle. The whistles are loud, quite piercing. I was a little disappointed that I had to buy three, but the truth is, I use all 3. One at the back door, one in the car, and one in the dog bag. If you plan to use these for a similar purpose, at least in the beginning, reward your dog each time he comes, or even starts to come, at the whistle. I don't know how a coach would feel about these, but I love them. I wish I had thought to use one to call my kids in for dinner when they were young!

Basic inexpensive whistle
Received the three whistles very quickly. They’re shipped with a lanyard and , for the price, you can’t complain. It’s not a heavy duty whistle but it does the trick.

Great for stopping aggressive dogs while walking
I bought these to break the concentration of roaming aggressive dogs on our rural walking route. Some of the farm dogs, like Great Pyrenees will try to tear into our leashed dog while walking past their home. A loud blast with the whistle breaks their focus and a few shouts and arm gestures sends them back home. This whistle is metal with a tough lanyard, so I know it's around my neck and ready to go. It also works well on nasty little rat dogs that nip at your ankles... little jerks.
