I think this was a good purchase for the money. Easy instructions. The clock is made well, holds the time and was easy to hang. I would make sure to use a screw/hook and anchor into a stud in the wall. The clock is heavy so make sure it is secure when hanging.

I bought this clock because of the movable gears. I'm pleasantly surprised that they are still operating as prescribed. The bonus is my guess that notices the clock's movement really like it.

Beautiful clock. Love the movement. Heavier than it looks so 2 studs and set the clock on the 2 screws. Works great.

Absolutely stunning clock. Takes 3 small batteries. One for the clock and 2 for the moving gears. We'll built, has great weight and strong condition.

Worked fine right out of the box. Due to its weight, I did take extra precautions to be sure the mounting was not only secure, but easy to remove for battery changes.The workmanship and detailing are excellent. There was an oil sheen on the glass that did obscure the view of the clock hands somewhat. Once that was cleaned off, the glass surface just about disappears even under direct track lighting.The batteries. A single cell is plenty to run most any clock mechanism for a year. But even two AAs are way underpowered to last the same time. The gears in my clock ran for about two months. Even two C cells would only last for ten to twelve months or so, I would guess. Given the size and depth of the clock, surely they could have found space for a C-cell sized battery compartment.

I don't often write reviews....but I thought it would be nice to know before buying. First, if you scroll towards the bottom of the product page, it says easy to install - "Easy To InstallKeyhole hanger is easy to install by the hook and the hanging hole on the back of the clock". There is no hook provided. I thought it was a mistake, so I requested a replacement. The replacement didn't have one either. Before buying something to hang the clock, I decided to set it up per the instructions to make sure it worked properly. The second-hand keeps falling. That is not cool. This time asking for a refund. Not worth the hassle.

I absolutely love this clock. I have other copper decorations in my office and this just matches my decor perfectly.

I'm praying this doesn't fall apart because it's cool. People comment on it and tell me how cool it is. The gears moving give it a steampunk type look. It's in my office and I really love this clock!
