This ABSOLUTELY works! Very impressed!
Absolutely brilliant. I woke up a week ago, unable to hear. Was advised to use olive oil drops for a few days to see if that helped. It didnβt π or so I thought. I had an appointment with the nurse yesterday, just to double check there were no sinister reasons for the hearing loss and she was able to confirm that it was totally blocked with wax (probably not helped by the ear plugs Iβve been wearing every night since lockdown began, to block out 5 teenagers talking on phones/iPads and gaming headphones most of the night π) but that, thanks to the regular use of olive oil, it was extremely soft and not too far in at this stage. Unfortunately, with the current covid situation, our surgery policy is that no syringing can be done π© so she had mentioned about ones you could buy to try at home, especially with the wax being softened so much. This arrived this evening, a day after ordering (thank you, Prime!) and, after reading a tip in one of the previous product reviews, I looked up a video on YouTube, as the instructions on the packet seem to be aimed at babies and kids, with delicate ears. First attempt cleared almost all the wax and I COULD HEAR AGAIN after an entire week ππ»ππ» I flushed it again (although not quite as forcefully this time) and that cleared some other bits of debris. Third time was clear. Canβt believe such a cheap product gave me back my hearing. Although I have to mention that everything seems SUPER loud at the moment, after being completely deaf for that length of time π Defintely recommend and want to thank all the previous reviewers for persuading me to give it a go βΊοΈ

It Works for some people.
Not much really to say about a rubber blow bulb.Squeeze it and it works. Don't squeeze it and it don't work.Use pure water from a bottle and warm it as you would a babies bottle up to body temp (37c) 98.4f.Suck the warm water up in the rubber bulb and then find something to hold under your ear to catch the water coming out.Do not stick it too far up the ear canal as you need room for the water to come out.Squeeze gently for a couple of squirts and you will see all the particles in the catching container. You can actually purchase the ear wax catchers from here but I just use a plastic container. It would be so much easier if you use olive oil first for a week or 2 just to soften the wax and it will then come out easy with the squirter using pure warmed water. You could use BOILED water which is allowed to cool to body temperature.NOTE: I SAID BOILED AND NOT BOILING. There is a big difference. When all said and done this is a nice product for the money and it does work if used properly so don't moan like some of them do. If it works it works, if it don't then go to your doctors and get your ears syringed. Some ears are well and truly compacted with ear wax over the years so this will be no good. You will also find if you are a regular swimmer then your ears are always clean. If you do not swim then you will get compacted wax and will be difficult to clean so use olive oil first or go to the doctors.

Very effective. Worked for me.
Bought this on the strength of the positive reviews about it. And really glad I did. I had gone deaf in one ear with a build up of wax and couldnt get to see the nurse for a week. I used Otex first, for 3 or 4 days, twice a day, to loosen up the wax. Was very nervous of using this at first, and it does take a few goes to get it right, but I successfully dislodged some gunky wax with a few goes of it, and my hearing has come back. Just make sure you are leaning down over a bowl or something and give a fairly firm pump of warm water, several times. It works best when full of water, so I dispensed with the water when it was only half used up, and kept refilling it. 6 to 8 pumps seemed to work for me. Extremely satisfying and quite effective!I finished off with a quick blow of a hairdryer in my ear just to make sure there was no water lingering about in my ear!

AMAZING product!!
If I could give more stars than 5 I would! I tried everything to unblock my ear! It was jam packed full of wax to the point where my doctor was in disbelief with how full it was. He advised the only way forward was surgery to remove the wax.I did not except what he told me and took matters into my own hands. I tried ea wax candles, oils, ear cleaning spray, Otex drops the LOT! Nothing worked. I was deaf in the 1 ear and it was getting me down and really depressed.I stumbled across this product on here and though "why not" I've tried everything else, might as well try this.I'm amazed! Within 2 hours and many attempts with it my ear was clear of wax and my hearing came back!!!! I was and still am gobsmacked!! My hearing is the best it's ever been!! Amazing product!! I highly recommend this. I even shared it on social media and people have tried it now and are amazed by the results also! It's cheap and works really well!!! Worth every penny!!!!

Beware of buying this or any syringe for removing ear wax
This did absolutely NOTHING for my ear wax except to make my ear VERY painful for days afterward. I went to my doctor and she told me to NEVER use any kind of syringe again! I could have perforated my ear drum. She gave me plain extra virgin olive oil to use several times a day, a couple of drops at a time. If this does not remove the wax in about a week I should make an appointment to have some kind of ''vacuuming'' done - not painful she says- and that will take care of it. Anyway, please know that it was not just this syringe that was not good for removing ear wax . It is ANY syringe!

Not as good as I was hoping
My 4 year old suffers from a bad ear wax problem, and we are at the minute waiting for surgery for double glue ear. He has issues with wax balling up in his ear too so I thought this could help get it out (darent risk a cotton bud pushing it backwards). Unfortunately it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It removed some of the flaky wax but after 10 minutes still can't get the ball to shift. Will have to try again.
