It's not obvious in the image but where the feet reach the floor are rounded plastic caps which glide well enough. I didn't have any problem with the screws because I drilled pilot holes first. I'm not sure how much load they'll take but I don't intend to sit on the thing so that should never come up.I put a set of these on a cheap filing cabinet to make it "Roomba compatible", and the screws were long enough to hold without punching through the top of the MDF.

I have a gorgeous round wood side table that my cats insist on using as a landing pad when they leap from our fireplace mantle. After knocking the table over no less than eight times, one of the legs snapped at the place of attachment. These legs were the perfect replacement. They were easy to assemble, the drill I used scared the cats (which seemed like sweet Karma to me), and the cats enjoyed the box they came in. I only used three of the legs, because it was a three-legged table. I wonder if my cat would still hop on it if the cat only had three legs?... I think these legs will last the rest of the cats nine lives. Highly recommend.

The legs are great and definitely hold a ton of weight. The screws they came with are way too soft. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Delivered quickly, exactly as described and the perfect addition to our chairs.

I bought them to lift my 4x2 ikea shelves off the floor & the fair price.Some people report that they tear off, and that absolutely will happen, becuase shelf material gor these kinds of shelves is very thin and it is not the leg's issue. What you want to do is move the legs way in from the shelf sides so if you tip the shelvs sideways to move them the shelf weight comes off the legs fairly quickly. Also, if you tighten the screws too tight the holes will be stripped on the thin shelf material.The legs look super awesome on my shelves and moving them inward really gives a mid-cebtury vibe.

The legs themselves are great, just as I'd hoped. Nice finish, very sturdy metal. The accompanying screws, however, are cr*p. I should have used my own screws, but I was too far in before realizing that. At first, I thought it was my fault - applying too much force or something. Then I thought it was my drill's fault - worn out bit or something. Switched to a hand screwdriver and that's when I realized it was the screws' fault. Their heads stripped almost instantly and went from phillips holes to worn-out round holes. Then, to top it all off, as I was very carefully hand-screwing in some of those worn-out holes, the heads of the screws themselves snapped off leaving the body of the screw inside my furniture but now without a head piece. Keeping my fingers crossed that the 3/4 worth of screws hold up for this bookcase.
