The Master Book of Herbalism Paperback – Illustrated, 1 Dec. 1984

I found this to be an absolutely wonderful book in its array of herbal information. I am extending my knowledge and skills to holistic medicine as I enjoy crystal and herbal work as part of my own personal rituals and healing, so I was looking around Amazon for some helpful books to supplement my diploma. As well as the large section on how to make remedies from herbs, this book also contains information linking herbs to astrology, tarot and gemstones. There is also a chapter on herb use in traditional rituals. Overall, a great reference book which covers alot of bases that not all books in this field do. Five Stars!

If ever i was to be cast upon a desert Island, and told "Of all your books, you can only pick one with regards to herbalism."....This would be the one. I've amassed various herbal books over the years, but this one just seems to speak to you. I love it. Just a shame the various so called Wicca/Witch-craft books i have also amassed, didn't have the same passion about its content, or its belief that this individual has.

It has helped me understand it and how overwhelming it can be if you don't find a book that explains it well enough. Granted it was published 1983 so there different wording but hugely recommend to anyone interested. Just be prepared to read a lot. The information in this book is from an historical and folklore perspective.

Arrived as stated and packaged well. I am studying this subject at present and this book is just great. It is full of information and easy to understand. It has been a great help to me making it easy to understand about herbalism. I feel that I will be using this book for quite a long time. Recommended to friends and family.

This is a book which you keep with all your favourites. Along with 'A modern herbal' by Grieve, this book is always within arms reach. I have gone back to it time and time again. Very informative, great to sit down with a cup of your favourite herbal tea and ponder through the pages. I would reccommend it to all interested in the practice of herbalism.

If you are ever interested in herbs etc I would purchase this book! This is a book you will use time and time again for its knowledge is great. Reads like a textbook and very easy to understand.
