I've seen a lot of negative reviews claiming mold in their tahini which is ridiculous. I have the same speckling along the side of my jar and it is NOT mold. It's just some specks from the sesame that settled. It smells and tastes fine. I will say the seal under the lid did leak a bit but fortunately it only leaked under the lid and none of the oil leaked beyond the lid onto the jar or the packaging though of course some have had it leak more extensively upon receipt. Just let Amazon know that it was damaged en route.

My husband is allergic to nuts but he needed a high protein snack. He made a “pbj” with it and said it tastes great and makes a good midday snack after his gym workout. I keep it in the fridge and it has lasted for several months and still tastes fresh. Easy to use, healthy and a great value.

Easier to stir, thick enough, right balance of sesame oil to the ground seed. Mixes well in my hummus and dressings.

I think some reviewers are confused. Most tahini is made with raw seeds. This one is roasted, which is why it behaves differently. Also, I find the flavor of most raw tahini to be too bitter. This stuff is fantastic & it makes the best Palestinian hummus. (Cook your own chickpeas & eat it warm. THE BEST!)

Love the creaminess of this paste. Better than grinding it up yourself and having seeds everywhere…it stores very well.

I love how this tahini is so smooth and blended. The perfect balance of the thicker parts and the more liquid parts. It’s not the most affordable tahini, but it is my favorite
