Helena Hummus, Shelf-stable, No added preservatives, Natural Classic 4.23 oz and Roasted Bell Pepper 4.23 oz (Pack of 4 Tripacks)

Stumbled across this product while doom scrolling on Amazon one night and decided to purchase it. This hummus is really good. I love a creamy smooth hummus and this is it. I hope they come out with other flavors.

It's yummy and convenient

This taste decent for shelf stable hummus. However, it becomes increasingly annoying to squeeze the hummus out of these packets. This would have been much more convenient in a canned good format. At only 4 ounces per pack, this also generates quite a bit of packaging waste.

I have a unique perspective on this product as I am bedbound and bought these to keep by my bedside. There aren’t many products like this on the market, and I really missed hummus! These are delicious and convenient. There’s a good amount in each pack. Be sure to massage the pack before you open it, then the texture is great. For me, squeezing out the product was a little difficult because of my chronic illness. I also have digestive issues, so I was sad when I discovered that the roasted red pepper flavor had ingredients that trigger my condition. Still delicious! But a third of the entire batch is this flavor so for me it’s not worth the money. I wish there was a way to purchase only the classic kind, and then I would have no problem buying this again and again.

Tasty, smooth texture, definitely worth the rate and they last forever in the fridge (just be aware of the expiration date on the package).

Helena is everything I wanted. It’s portable and the taste is so fresh and natural. I’d say it’s better than Sabra! It goes great with celery and carrots.Our family loved the Red Pepper one, but we haven’t opened the Natural flavor, so let’s see what they say. It doesn’t need refrigeration so we can take it anywhere, anytime. I’m a fan and my kids are too!

Got it. Didn’t open it. The packaging was not appealing. I thought it had a fair amount of protein, but then I carefully read the nutrition profile and it didn’t seem particularly healthy. Gave it away.

I have sent these with my husband several times now as part of his lunch and he has loved it! The squeeze-package is extremely helpful as he eats in his car on his lunch break (for peace and quiet!) and it's way less mess than a packaged you'd have to dip into. My toddler and I have shared both flavors for snack and we usually have to open another one cause one isn't enough for the both of us! Both the regular and the roasted bell pepper taste great, no grittiness or oiliness. Definitely recommend for on-the-go, in the car kind of snacking.
