Good dice

Great practice pieces, affordable and bend easily by hand. Small and gives a great place to start learning to tig weld.

So I ordered this to use with tig. I originally intended to weld using traditional tig welding technique. Unfortunately though you cannot weld it this way. You can't form a puddle obviously so using a laywire technique works best. I Unfortunately only had 3/32 er70s2 on hand. I highly recommend using either er70s2 or er70s6 but in 1/16. If you are using the 1 amp per thou with 1/16 it will work perfectly.

I bought this on a whim because I thought it looked neat. When I got it and welded it together, I was more than pleased. It's fairly simple to understand and assemble. I used my Tooliom wire welder to weld it together and I used the welder's lowest sitting so as to not burn a hole through the metal squares.I look forward to purchasing more of these because a few people like what I done and they're eager to have thier own (hense wanting me to weld them some too).

Really nice welding coupons to practice on. I'm a beginner welder and this has been a fun project. The metal is a little thin but that makes me concentrate even more when welding.
