When I bought back the gaming PC I gave to my son, yes bought back a gift, but I didn't care because I made him a promise to support his gaming needs and that was part of that promise. Well, he lost the charger cord and I had to get new one, no worries, this works fine and I use that laptop every day. I continue to shovel money at my son, frankly I prefer to have him home safe rather than running around with kids who might lead him astray and get in trouble.

Unlike a lot of third party chargers this one has some heft to it similar to the original. This alone is not the reason for this review. Came in a normal cardboard box wrapped in a plastic bag. No fancy lettering etc.... The wiring on this charger is surprisingly thick and appears to be good wiring. A little stiff however but its thick. The right angle plug for the laptop side is nice and fit perfectly. Laptop started charging instantly. Installed a couple of games and let it crank. The power brick itself got a little toasty after some gaming but not alarmingly hot or scalding. Think the original got a little hotter to be honest. It works. It has held up to some demanding games and maintained a decent but not overly hot temperature. Good heft. Feels decently built. See if it lasts.

The product description says it works for ASUS A15 type laptops, and while that is technically true, this charger is not suitable for that type of laptop. It can fit into the charging port of the laptop and will charge the laptop if it is not being used, but if you are using your laptop for anything more demanding than simple web browsing the charger can not supply enough power. This causes the computer to constantly flash the "charging" and "on battery" power pop ups which is massively distracting and the battery will slowly drain as the charger can not keep up.

It fit my computer but the end that goes is not quiet tight cause it will slide off while working. I could a replacement for computer any where.

After I misplaced/lost my original ASUS laptop charger, my laptop sat uncharged for about 1 year. I finally decided to buy a replacement charger and this one works perfectly. It had my computer charged up within minutes of plugging it in. I've been using it for a few months now and I am still happy with it.
