It meets the standards for the grade.
Many reviews question the thickness, surface, and warping, but they are what you should expect.Thickness : Baltic birch plywood is manufactured to metric standards, so it is 3mm thick, but is sold in the US as 1/8 inch thick because that's closest to the size we're familiar with. I don't think it's possible to buy 1/8 Baltic birch plywood.Surface: Baltic birch plywood is defined by a grading system. The pictures on Amazon showing knot free and blemish free surfaces are misleading. The grade of this plywood is supposed to have a certain amount of blemishes. The eight boards in my package showed fewer blemishes than I expected, so I was lucky this time. Baltic birch plywood is used for furniture in Europe but the 1/8th and 1/4 inch thick boards are too thin for furniture and are used where they won't show, like drawer bottoms and rear panels, so blemishes are expected. Those boards would probably be rated b/b. These boards are b/bb, with bb being the better side.Warping: the 1/8 and 1/4 inch panels are thin and are very likely to warp. I doubt if it's possible to make these panels so that they can't warp. If they came warped, or become warped before you use them, you can try dipping a sponge in hot water and wetting the concave side. Then put weights on it and let it dry in the sun. Do it again if necessary and you should get a flat board.I think the boards I received comply with the written descriptions of them. The photos of blemishes free boards are misleading, although most of my boards were blemish free or had very small ones. The quality was as expected and the price was good.

Will order again
I have not any problems so far. my only complaints are that they dont' sell it in 8x12 inch sections and sometimes i dont get an even cut all the way through, but that could be because of other factors, like the air vent, or the machine itself, who knows? I am a beginner but the quality work i get from these is great.Update: I have been ordering wood every couple of months from them for a year and my projects turn out great. I even accidentally ordered 8x8 wood once and was able to return it immediately and get the right size sent out. Yes occassionally some of the wood is slightly bowed in the middle but it is not enough to make a difference in the projects I do.

Nice wood, but loses 1* because it's NOT covered by Amazon Prime
I got this wood for a Do-It-Yourselfer project in my house. Nice wood! Since I'm gonna need to cut it for my project, I was willing to pay for delivery & accept the fact that it was NOT shipped by Amazon, which would cover it with free returns if you're an Amazon Prime customer. Also - as a DIYer - I know that I need to spread a thin layer of glue on the wood before I cut it, so that it doesn't crack or splinter.Loses 1*.

Not good for laser cutting
The boards fit nicely into a typical K40 cutting area. They engrave with a laser well. However, they do not cut well because there are numerous knots in the plywood core. See the photo where I stripped back the outer veneer to see why my pieces did not cut correctly in this spot. I wasted a lot of material but more importantly a lot of time with many engraved items that failed to cut properly and had to be redone because of the inconsistencies in the core. I went through to packages of material and both packages had this problem. Also FYI I have found that the laser engraving is usually darker on one side than the other, and I could not predict which, so I start by doing a small test engraving in an otherwise empty space on each side and choosing the side that has better contrast.

They were all flat!
I’ll definitely order from this supplier again. I’ve been cutting ornaments on my laser and appreciate that all of the boards were flat. Makes it easier to mount them and hold them in place. I’ll be cutting other items that require close tolerances and flat boards make a difference. Deserves the five stars.
