I absolutely love it. When I first set it up it took ages to filter through (as it states in the instructions) but after that it soon speeds up. My son, who has a heightened sense of smell and taste says the water tastes like bottled water whilst my old filter made by Britta tasted metallic. So my lovely new Newton water filter is a far superior water filter than a jug one.The filters are filled with activated carbon which I've heard is a natural material that absorbs poisonous material in water. It's like those charcoal tablets you can get that you swallow to absorb toxins inside you when you've eaten something you shouldn't have. I love it because it's natural and it makes sense.Also, FinerFilters was so kind and generous as to actually send me a replacement tap when my mum pushed down on the lever instead of up to get the water out and she caused it to constantly drip!So... don't push down on the lever! The water will still come out but it's not supposed to be used that way, pull up like it states in the instructions.Thankyou so much FinerFilters, you lovely people. You're costumer services are excellent; kind and very professional.:-D

The product is well built. The water level gauge is a lovely feature, making it easy to when refill... I'm not so sure about the filter candles. We purchased the fluoride and limescale but my kettle scales up just as easily as when using tap water. I have aTDS meter and the levels are higher after filtration vs tap water... Luckily you can fit other brands' filter candles...

This thing is hard to fault. For starters it has faultless build quality with heavy guage stainless steel that to my eyes, is near flawless. Everything is solid, fits well together, easy to assemble. My only gripe is that I haven't been able to confirm the type of filter supplied. I ordered with the 'fluoride' filter and am having to simply trust thats what I got. I couldn't see any markings on the packaging or filters saying what type they are. Regardless, the first 6litres took several hours to run but is now far quicker and the resulting water tastes superb.I take water to bed in a glass for in the night and drinking ordinary tap water in the morning when it's stood in my glass all night is not pleasant. It has a stale, dirty and chemical taste. Not with this piece of kit. The water from this tastes clean and pure no matter if it's stood in a glass all night, it's a pleasure to drink straight water again.I'd like to be certain of the actual fluoride filter being supplied however. I cant taste it but i'd like to be sure as fluoride is super nasty for health.In summary. It's heavy build, solid and seems to work beyond expectations. Just label the filters for peace of mind.

I am really pleased with this water filter system. The size is much more compact than I expected and it still meets our needs - family of two with regular guests and cooking. I find it refills swiftly. The handy level metre is great to see when it needs to be refilled. The stand is ok - but I am researching a nicer stand as I'd prefer something in wood. I am also pleased the candles only need to be changed every 6 months. The only reason why it's not five stars is that I haven't investigated how to check or test the quality of filtered water. It does taste much nicer than our unfiltered tap water. However, I feel I should gather this info to fully be able to recommend it with five stars. In the mean time, four full stars.

This is probably the best Filter System of its kind, with similar ceramic filters to one other brand, but better as the that are unique taking out heavy metals, Fluoride and scale. I would set judgement aside of any negative reviews, a few reasons. Firstly, all the reviews are mainly the ordinary ceramic filter which are delicate as these are, and this is an entirely new product so the reviews are all mixed together. Secondly, on Amazon they have a very good video explaining how to handle the ceramic filters and assemble the machine, which if you pay good attention to before you purchase you are very unlikely to damage the filter. Transit is sometimes going to be a problem with these delicate filters, and I read reviews of the other brand where the filters were already damaged opening the box. Final point that the price is for a complete system including a two Fluoride and heavy metal filters, a stand, and sightglass on a metal spigot.

Easy to use, the one litre size is plenty for me and the taste is great. Recommended.

I heard water gushing into the tank and knew that was a bad sign. When I looked, the candle had come way from the plastic base so now im operating on only one candle..its so very slow.Plus,I would like to see some Info written on the candle base so I know what I received. I paid for the limescale remover candle but there's no way of knowing if its not stated on it

Easy assembly, well packed, great quality and good capacity. Most of all great taste.
