Arrived in good time, excellent product. Worked for me

Used once and the black top semi melted and broke off leaving me with only the metal and wires are unsecured and a hazard to use another useless item bought on Amazon.

It works well, considering being a smaller size. Heats up the water fast. Kinda flimsy but just tighten the screws and it's good to go. Not bad for the price. So pretty satisfied..

Unfortunately this has become more common than not anymore with Chinese products sold online. They are routinely not as described. Following are the several ways this one isn't:1) Not stainless steel but regular metal with a super thin electroplating of a shiny chrome-type coating which is literally already rusting after fewer than 10 uses.2) Not 1000 watts. I've plugged it into a testing meter twice and it averaged ~825 watts.3) Product Dimensions says it's only 5 inches long but it's actually 12+ inches = a very big difference!Lastly, I'll mention the quality. For such a large/heavy immersion heater (as I mentioned above, it's over 12 inches long and mostly metal) the plastic housing is far too small and flimsy to support the length and weight. As a result, the metal portion is immediately coming loose and detaching from the plastic housing.Based on all of the above, there is literally nothing I would recommend about this immersion water heater. Avoid.

Decent stinger

Works great and very efficient. Will heat my 2 gallons of shower water from 80 to 110 deg F in 8 1/2 minutes consuming 141wHrs.
