But techie to setup but once working, really great. Only think I’d say is an issue is not knowing what all of the settings actually do. It really is comprehensive and after much playing I’ve got fantastic day and night pictures (this is the 4th type of ip cam I’ve used) that far surpass anything else I’ve used.The zoom during the day is quick and very good quality, smooth and stable. On a night the reach of the full IR is incredible.Strongly recommended if you have the technical skills to get the best from it. Test : Do you know what POE version your hub is ? If the answer is yes, your probably the right type of customer to make the most of this camera. Otherwise, get someone to install it or make sure you learn before putting it outside.

This camera is brilliant. The image quality is brilliant as is the zoom. It is fast and has a great tilt gradient. Yes, it is big and won’t be discreet unless placed carefully - which I managed. Sunba are great to deal with. This was a replacement for the 507 model and did not disappoint. I love these cameras. Criminals - beware !

Lasted all but 11 hours and stoped working fuming !

Having purchased two other Sunba PTZ units - the professional series ones - I had high hopes for this more compact version. However, for me the main problem was that the control software was not the same as the first two units, if there is a weakness with the camera ranges, then each unit may have a different control app / method of connection depending on model, so be aware if you already have a unit, that this unit if for you. I am sure Tech support would answer any query before a purchase.That said, it was again well made, and tech support was very helpful with advice, but I did end up returning the unit ( Easy to return no issues ) for another professional model so the one app controls the lot. Still if this is your first 'Sunba' unit, I am sure it would be good value for money.

I have fitted a number of these cameras and on the whole they are good value for money.I install the predominantly with Hik Vision NVR's and they do tend to be recognised and auto installed most of the time. Sometimes you need to manually switch them to ONVIF.The main issue I find is that they more often than not need a firmware upgrade to cure one minor niggle or another. Whilst this isn't a big problem if you know..... its that there doesn't appear to be one latest firmware upgrade for each camera which fixes all the problems.The firmware off the Sunba site fixe one of the older cameras, but there is also a firmware fix to cure the white out issue.My latest pair of cameras didn't work with either of the above firmware release... but after a message so [email protected] Robin on the support desk pointed me at the right firmware which solved my problem.Only niggle is that the PAN left and right are swapped around....... so 9/10 for Robin and support, 5 out of 10 for R&D - how hard can it be to get left and right the right way around.Last but not least - Sunba please make all the firmware releases available for download, whilst I am glad the problem it solved it cost me 2 trips to the client site to get the fix sorted out.Great cameras for the price point - just remember to ask Sunba for the right firmware if something doesn't work to save you tearing your hair out.

I have both this camera (601) and the smaller (401) version. Both have identical sensors and both seem to perform identically. The key difference (other than £50 on price) is that one is 4Kgs + and the other 2kgs + and the latter is half the size. Perhaps depends on the job. You can't miss the bigger 601 as a deterrent as it is so dominant and it says more seriously "don't burgle me". However, its smaller less intrusive sister works just as well and might be more suitable in many locations. Suggest pick up a few bags of sugar to get an idea of the comparative weights. 4 kgs is heavy.

This is THE best camera I have ever had. It was very easy to install and setup and the speed and quality of the image is amazing. It is an impressive and very well built piece of kit...and it has a mic built-in too!I highly recommend this camera.

I had a technical problem and Robin P was so helpful even with all the time differences Sunba helpline were great and got me sorted in no time. I would highly recommend them. Great camera and fantastic after sales care.
