I don't recall but found to be a waste of money. They did nothing. No scent, nothing.

Q: Do you have to put them on the shower floor? Or can they go on a shelf, that tends to get wet too?

I always put them on the shower floor, but putting them on a shelf (that gets wet) would probably work as long as the shelf isn’t high up. Otherwise, you’ll miss the vapors rising.
