NOW Essential Oils, Spearmint Oil, Stimulating Aromatherapy Scent, Steam Distilled, 100% Pure, Vegan, Child Resistant Cap, 1-Ounce

This product is made by now foods which is one of the top companies that make essential oils and I highly recommend them for any essential oils purchase. Spearmint is one of my favorite fragrances and I like to mix this with sweet almond oil to make my own fragrance oil and it's also good to add to infusers or to add to humidifiers if they have that feature.

Spearmint Essential Oil from NOW Foods -I have bought several things from NOW foods, and I am 100% happy with them as a whole.This spearmint oil is by far, my favorite brand. I use it every single day. I love the smell of spearmint.Spearmint is cooling, stimulating, and invigorating.I use it, mixed with Epsom salts and tea tree oil in a bath soak for muscle pain. It really sinks in deeply, and feels so good. It soothes sore and tired muscles. I have a lot of joint pain, so the muscles around the joints are usually irritated. This bath soak really does help a lot.I also add it to homemade shampoo, toothpaste, and room spray.My favorite way to use this oil though, is to add it to my laundry detergent. I buy free and clear laundry detergent, and add spearmint oil, tea tree oil, and cedarwood oil. It smells woodsy, minty, and refreshing. It has excellent staying power. When I wash my bedding with it, it stays smelling like this until the next wash. My dog sleeps on my bed with us, so I usually swap sheets at least once a week.Since this is 100% spearmint oil, it can be used in foods. I add one drop to tea, and it tastes amazing.I use it in a diffuser too. It keeps the house smelling fresh and cleanSpearmint is my favorite scent, I would use it for absolutely everything imaginable if I thought my husband wouldn't get sick of it. It is just so refreshing.

I love the smell of this spearmint oil way better than some of the more expensive brands. It's the perfect minty smell I was looking for. I have loved it in a diffuser, a drop with the laundry soap, with cleaning products and a drop with my toothpaste. I have had a few that were leaky, which is a hassle for sure, but they were quick to refund. I think a lot of the other spearmint oils smell like cough medicine. This one makes me happy and I think it's worth a try.

It smells so good. So I use it for a room spray. I use it to make my car smell good. Also I put a few drops in boiling water to make the house smell good.

NOW Foods has some great essential oils and for a minty option I definitely prefer to go for Spearmint. The oil has a wonderful toned down mint scent, somewhat sweet, but still a little refreshing.As an aromatherapy oil is has a nice diffusion in medium to large spaces and the scent is quite long lasting. It's somewhat uplifting and energizing, but the effects vary from person to person (some people are more `sensitive` than others to the benefits of aromatherapy). I sometimes just sprinkle a few drops in my bathtub or kitchen sink and the scent lasts for almost a day. Even mixed in homemade cleaning products it manages to do a good job of refreshing the air in a room.It's a very good oil for inhalation (especially when I have a cold), but it's not as refreshing and sinus opening as a Peppermint oil.I wouldn't recommend this oil for any food grade purposes. I tried it in tea (at my own risk) and even 2-3 drops added an odd vibe, I couldn't drink the tea.I also tried adding it my homemade mouthwash. Again, the taste was rather outputting and even so, it didn't worked to refresh my breath.The bottle was delivered wrapped in bubble wrap. The dropper works very well on mine, very easy to control drops; I don't have to shake it hard, but it doesn't over-spill easy the drops.
