Purchased a Gaiatop 5-inch portable fan to use in my small bathroom to use when I'm shaving or drying my hair. The 3 speed motor circulates plenty of air and the fan has an adjustable 360 degree tilt. It is lightweight and can easily be moved. The footprint is small and doesn't take up much counter space. I like the overall design of the plastic body. One push button on the back of the fan controls all 3 speeds and off. When the fan is running on the lowest speed you have to go through the other two speeds to turn off the fan. A separate on and off button would make this an even better fan. The fan is very quiet on the lowest speed and there is a more noticable whine on the other two speeds, but not enough to be too loud. On the second and third speeds, this little fan moves a lot of air. This is a corded fan and not a USB fan, so it cannot be used as a rechargeable fan. I looked a many different small portable fans before I came across this one on Amazon. I have been using my Gaiatop portable fan for five months and I'm very pleased with it. While I don't know how long this small fan will continue to run, it's doing a great job for its small size.

I bought this fan to have beside me at my desk for when it gets a bit warm and I want some cool air. But to my surprise, this fan punches well above its size and weight. For being only 5 inches, it has three settings, and to be honest, most of the time I keep it on setting one or maybe two sometimes. I do want to emphasize that this fan is NOT enough for when summer comes and your room turns into an oven. That's when a proper window AC unit must come into play. However, during nighttime, or cooler months, it is still nice to have. This fan is also very quiet and not loud at all, even on the third setting. It does plug into the wall, so there is no battery, but it is VERY power efficient, using no more than 7 watts, according to the manufacturer. It is very lightweight and looks easy to clean when the time comes by just unscrewing the front side.

I keep it at my desk and on the lowest setting it is so quite I can barely hear it 3 feet away. My office area is air conditioned, but other areas can get real hot. So coming in from the heat, this fan has always been able to stop me from sweating. And on hot days when the AC can't keep up- this fan makes a world of difference.

This fan produces a lot of breeze, but beyond the first setting, it is too loud.

I use my 5-inch portable Gaiatop Desk Fan on the counter in my kitchen to keep me cool when I wash dishes. Cools me off instantly. (Improves my attitude instantly.) I love it. It’s quiet and can really put out a lot of air. I would definitely buy another one.

A great little desk top fan. I ordered it for work, and the first day that I had it there, the a/c went out for a few hours. This little fan kept me as cool as possible that day. I recommend it to those who want a small, electric fan with a cord.

I just received this little fan. I am using it in my bathroom for the first time today. I love it so far. It is small enough to not be in the way, but mighty enough to cool me down. It has three speeds and I love that I can take the cover off to clean the blades. The cream color is a perfect neutral.

Great little fan!! I was so surprised at how much air that this little fan can move around! It has 3 different speeds and it's just a wonderful little fan and if I ever need another one then I will definitely be buying this one again!!
