This works amazingly well!

If you have an RV, you will be happy with this product. Included peel and stick 12 V cable holders to span wire underneath RV. Works like a charm.

Have used twice so far. The first time worked great no issues at all. 2nd use, the backflow preventer started leaking sewage on the ground, not a lot and no solids, but enough to be concerned about quality. The backflow preventer would not tighten up on the pump. There are other reviews that have leakage problems as well. Another thing I didn't like that is not in the description on Amazon but is in the instructions. Duty time is 5 minutes on, 10 minutes off. That being said this ran fine with no overheating for about an hour, pumped about 141 gallons of black and grey water. When purchasing the main concern was distance as none of the pumps listed an actual max distance. The discharge run was 200ft with mostly 5/8 hose. guess you could say this was a stress test lol.

My son hooked it up and ran it for. No more long slinky's.

At first the macerator worked very well. However, after 6 months of use, the ball valve is leaking sewage out of the lever location and where the hose attaches. I have tried to repair the valve to no avail.

1st review - ***Ordered this kit thinking Camco Rhino was a quality product I could trust. - waited for almost a month for it to arrive - first time using it today and it leaks from the housing where it’s screwed together.5 days until I’m out of the 30 day return window and none available. 1 rebuilt/used on Amazon.I had to use it with a drip container today - processed for a return with no replacement available anywhere on the WWW. Disappointed to say the least - in quality- customer service at Amazon as well as Camco. So much for thinking any inkling of quality is a priority with either of these companies anymore.****UPDATE DEC 2024 I didn't make it back home in time to return this item thru Amazon. The pump did work. I was able to use it and place a drip pan under it to contain the mess for the three trips we have made with it which wasn't an ideal solution.This product became unavailable after I discovered that mine leaked. I researched the web trying to come up with a fix.I reached out to Camco late Oct/Nov and explained that the pump was leaking although it works, it was leaking around a screw where the motor mounted to the blades. I requested information on a fix or if I could get a replacement gasket kit as I couldn't find any for sale.Camco rep reached back a few days later and explained that they were awaiting a shipment for these kits and I would be getting a replacement in Jan 2025 as soon as they were back in stock.Last week I discovered a box at my gate from Camco and as promised a complete brand new replacement kitI haven't had the opportunity to use it to verify that it works properly and doesn't leak - but I am satisfied that Camco will back up the products they sale.So, I"m updating my initial review to reflect the fact they stand behind their products. I will come back and verify that the new unit doesn't leak when I get the chance to use it. Hopefully it works flawlessly. Even the leaky one was better than wasting time in line at the dump stations on departure day.I used it to transfer to a 36 gallon Rhino tank in my truck bed and was able to get my tanks dumped day prior to departure from the campground while the dumpstation wasn't crowded. 5 mins tops to dump the honey pot.I was able to do a thorough clean out of all my tanks after arriving home using the macerator pump and dumping into my septic via the washing machine drain in my garage as the inlet for a 3/4 garden hose. One less thing to have to contend with on departure day. No more wasted time at a campground dump-station.

It works much better than my other one. Very sturdy construction. Would recommend to other RVrs.

Bought this to save myself from have to lift a heavy mobile black tank. Went to use it for the first time and it was leaking all over and dumped sewage all over me. And yes I made sure it was mounted on 4 points.
