It fit/functions in a Klutch welder generator.
A friend of mine bought a Klutch welder generator which quit functioning in the first few hours of use on the first day he used it. Brand new, about 30 minutes of use and it died. I looked at it and found that the actual generator component was producing around 59vac when the unit was labeled to produce 120/240vac. Thank God I found this part; the manufacturer for the generator (CVZZ) was un-findable with Google. This part directly replaced the factory part and, praise the Lord, it worked! Even the exciter brush module fit. The retailer of the Klutch brand insisted that my friend return it to the store over an hour and a half from where he lives to "maybe see about possibly" doing something to get it serviced. That was a non-starter and I got to work on it. I was able to get it working with this part. How long it will work...that's a question. But if it eats it in short order you can be sure I'll right back here changing this review.

Creating Juice
Dang. It worked, but because my buddy is an investigative genius. That said, he isolated the problem, and with this new replacement piece, my generator is now creating juice.Bravo!

Over. Voltage
This product is garbage. I ordered two and both of them definitely created voltage. 191 volts on a 120 circuit. I changed brands and as soon as I installed my issues were fixed. Do not buy.

Great so far.
Original voltage regulator on a Generac 5500 gave up the ghost after a number of years of faithful service. Bought replacement of a different brand. It's lifespan was measured in minutes but that's another review. I bought this one due to good experiences with the brand previously. Item arrived and first impressions were that the quality was outstanding. The voltage regulator gets warm during use and this one has a metal housing with ridges/mini fins which should help with cooling. The others I have seen just have a plastic housing. Installation was easy, fit was perfect. So far I've not run it loaded near rated capacity for any length of time but have used it for a few hours on a job site and it has performed well.

Needed to replace an AVR on a portable generator, good replacement. Quick and easy to install and adjust the voltage after.
