Clamp not very big

Lower light levels flicker
Whilst everything else about the lamp works nicely, the lower light levels flicker. The brightest setting is constant and doesn't flicker, so for a simple life I decided not to send this one back (as I had already sent back the first one for the same issue). There's not much need for a lower light level setting that I can think of, and its clearly a flawed system as both the lamps ordered had the same issue, so it would be better not to have that feature at all and just stick with the 3 different colour settings. The lamp was easy to put together and stands nicely on a table, the flat metal base easily keeping it balanced regardless of how you position the lamp. The bendy neck works well and holds its position, the light (only on its highest setting) is bright and clear. The magnifying glass works well, is not massively magnifying but enough to help. I'm not sure how useful the small circle of higher magnification is as it is blurry from anything over an inch away...you can use it to see something but you could not easily work on anything that close to the glass. I'm a big disappointed due to these issues but it is an improvement on my old magnifying light that was larger overall and more cumbersome to try and work under. For the price it is useful enough.

lovely while it lasted
Stopped working properly after 6 months. No way to return faulty goods and ended up buying another lamp from our local shop.
