It was perfect for a solo gig!

I use this in a sound booth for recording. The stool is very comfortable and the thing holds a guitar quite securely. The bottom hooks for holding the guitar easily pivot out of the way when not needed. I like very much that the stool can be collapsed for storage or transport, and that it latches in the open configuration so it can't accidently fold up on someone trying to sit on it. My only small quibble is that the front cross bar is fairly small, so it's a little cramped if you want to have both of your feet resting on it. But that is a small quibble indeed and one that doesn't really impact the usability of this stool.

Uncomfortable

While leaning back, the backrest tore off and I ended up on the concrete floor on my back. Nothing broken, but bruised and sore, 4 days after the return date expired. Expensive lesson, beware. UPDATE: Seller refunded full purchase price, even after return expiry date. Thankyou seller! 5 star seller.

This stool came assembled with the exception of the back. It was very easy to put on and the screws lined up yo the holes perfectly. The seat is soft. I really like that it has a built in guitar stand.
