Q: is the padding removable?

Hi. No it’s not. I usually remove from my sports bras But this one is sewn to the inside layer. Doesn’t fold or move around so I actually don’t mind it. Hope this helps.

Q: I wear a 36 double D would I use a large or extra large

Extra large, it could be me but I found they run a bit small I'm a 38D. It does keep the boys tied down

YES!! It holds them quite well!! My Mama blessed me with some big girls and this is my go to bra for high impact activities. I also have a few of them for daily wear when I am teaching elementary PE and we are not doing high impact.
