Do not waste your money like I did! The release mechanism DOES NOT work. The elastic strap doesn’t keep water from leaking out. It doesn’t even have a rubber gasket to seal it closed! I put SEVERAL scrunchies around it to keep it closed. Before you ask I didn’t feel right using it and returning it so I just wasted 17$

I've been looking at these water bottles for a while because the idea of having ice you can just pop into your drink seems like a great idea. I live with someone who is an ice addict, so I thought this would be an ideal solution to keeping her in ice. Admittedly, I bought this water bottle without looking at the reviews on Amazon. That was a mistake.First of all, the bottle has a very small ice tray that produces a very limited amount of ice, which would disappoint someone who loves icy drinks. The ice does pop out easily.Second, the part that has the ice attaches to the rest of the bottle and is only kept together with an elastic band. If the band slips or stretches out, the water will leak out. You would get soaked. If you had cherry pop or red wine in it, you would be a real mess in case of leakage.In its new state, the bottle works ok, but I don’t trust it at all. The negatives overwhelm the novelty!

It’s was all right I put water to must leakage

The media could not be loaded. I got this mainly to use as an ice maker, but after testing its sturdiness, I may use it for summer drinks. I was surprised that it does not leak. Easy to use and shake around to loosen ice cubes as needed.

I got this to make iced iced-tea cubes to keep my tea cold while I drink it without diluting it. YOu can use it as just an ice tray and dispenser, but with the elastic-type band and straw, you can drink right from it. Should work iced coffee as well, keeping melted ice from diluting your beverage. At $15 it's a fair price for a somewhat niche item, but I won't replace all of my ice trays with these.

The one I received leaks as soon as water is put in it from the part that the ice cubes are made in! Super disappointing.

A cool design, but problematic. It did make ice, but the ice didn’t really want to come out of the tray no matter how much I pushed on the back. Gently (as possible) banging it on the counter was about the only way to get all of the cubes to release. I tried putting water into the reservoir only to have it immediately leak. The band included did not do anything to stop the leakage. This is a compact ice tray with a cool cover but it is not a beverage holder. Considering the work it takes to get it to release the ice cubes, I doubt it’s going to last for very long. Best avoided.
