Great for tea
I purchased this as a gift for my husband, who wanted a way to brew hot water for tea at his desk at work. Works perfectly for this purpose! The compact design fits well in his cubicle, and gives him the hot water he needs to brew a steaming cup of hot tea. Does the job!

Quick, Clean Coffee With Few Steps
Love this alternative to the higher-priced Keurig, Tassimo and Senseo (whose pods are interchangeable with this machine). Perfect for the office but I bought this one for my elderly parents who are not huge coffee fans, but would like something better than instant to enjoy. It made an awesome little gift and when I stop at the grocery, I always pick up the Senseo pods and drop them off so we get to have a short and sweet visit to boot.

Draws a lot more than 450w..
Brews coffee fine, but it was tripping the breaker on my 500w battery power station. I hooked it up to a watt meter and found it sustains about 635 watts while brewing... Not sure if I got a bad one or something but it uses more watts than advertised.

Great little coffee maker!
I have two points to add about this machine:First: It's neat! No messes to clean up in the office, no coffee grounds to dump.Second: I like deep, rich coffee, and at first I was very disappointed. I tried using two pods, but that can lead to nasty messes. Then, I hit on the answer: use less water! I now fill the water reservoir to about 1/4 inch beneath the maximum line, and with a Senseo Sumatra blend pod, I get a satisfying cup of coffee--but only about 2/3 of a mug. I don't mind the diminished quantity; I can always make another one, and half the time I don't finish a full mug anyway. Simple, cheap, satisfying solution.

Great Little Coffee Maker!
We use this to make single cups of tea so basically a water heater! It works excellent and is much quicker than using the stove!!

Perfect for camping if you have power
Bought mine to use while camping because it only pulls 450 watts and can be powered by most portable power stations such as Bluetti EB3A.

dishwater coffee
If you like weak, lukewarm, dishwater-tasting coffee, this is the machine for you.Yeah, it's pretty portable if you're traveling, it's easy to clean, it's convenient, but the coffee it makes is awfulGet a Keurig or a Senseo, or, better yet, a "Handpresso" if you want good coffee. The keurig isn't very portable, but it's small.happy Joe!!!

Very convienent!!!
I bought this easy to use one cup coffee maker for my daughter to use in her limited space dorm room. I didnt want her to have to deal with coffee grounds or filling a glass pot. She loves it for those mornings when she doesnt have class and wants to sleep in and avoid the campus dining hall. I was able to find our favorite coffee online in the easy to use pods which makes it even better. She still enjoys the occasional "Starbucks" on class days!
