KegSheet: Keg Insulator Cover Cooler for Kegs and Keg Tubs

I haven’t had a chance to use this with a keg yet, but it’s been a very hot summer so I’ve been keeping it in my car. It’s awesome for keeping my groceries cool when I don’t want to rush straight home, and I’ve used it for everything from coffee creamer to cannoli dip with great results. I like my beer ice cold so I especially love it for wrapping up a six pack. Holding up great too despite pretty regular use so I imagine it’ll last me awhile.

Does the job! In 106° desert, outside even the keg stayed cold and there was still ice after 8 hours. Only used one bag the whole time.Everyone laughed at it at first, now they all want one.

Overall, I think this product is a great idea and works well. Mylar is an amazing insulating material, and creating a form factor that fits a keg is a great application. However, as was noted by another reviewer, the mylar sheet used is very thin and tears easily. Buyers should consider that this product is essentially disposable and weigh the cost of the KegSheet against the cost of ice.

Kept keg ice over night - only con was single use for us as our keg barrel just fit and tore when removing.

Thought this product fit what I needed which was a way to keep a keg (1/4 barrel) cold. Opened it, began to cover the barrel and it ripped. The product doesn't work with a rip in it. :-( $15 down the drain.

Multiple uses. Used for kegger, and it worked SO much better than ice, and it was hassle free; it has a hole for the tap. But it won't end there, and I don't throw that many keggers. I like keeping this folded up in my car for groceries, impromptu stops at costco and I like knowing I have an emergency blanket on hand. Probably could punch 2 holes in it for a poncho. A must have for clubs and organizations that spend time and money on barrels. Microbreweries and beerfests...HELLO!

I thought the product was wonderful. It does everything it is ment to do. It is a snug fit, but fits perfect. Just throw some ice and beers in it and use it as a portable cooler. The price is very reasonable since you save a lot of money not buying ice. I would buy this again, but 1 will last me awhile.

This thing didn't hold temps well at all. Ice melted just as quickly without it. The product developers grossly overestimated it's efficiency. It had several micro tears after just putting it on and didn't last for more than a day without more small rips. I feel as if this was meant to be disposable. Not at all easy to clean. This is easily the worst product I've bought so far on amazon. Save your money and just use an ice bucket. 2 stars instead of one because it fit well, even with a tap, and shipped fast.
