It is clear and does not affect the wood appearance at all once it is dry.

Can i treat garden furniture previously treated with lindseed oil?

Unfortunately the preserver would not be suitable to be applied onto a linseed oil application.

If the wood has a bit of rot and is soft, would this work?

Hi, this will be the date of manufacture unless it is preceded by "BB" in which case it will be the best before date.
